Today I have drafted up a letter to Green Leaf finance as I also did not know I had dealt with this company. The content of the letter is as follows.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to cancel under the financial services (distance marketing) regulations 2004 my arrangement with Green Leaf Finance Limited and would like a full refund of my money £49.99 thirty days from receiving this letter.
Kind regards
xxxxxxxxxxxx.
Sign the letter and date it keep a copy for your records.
Send the letter registered to ,
Green Leaf Finance Limited
Suite 18032
Lower Ground floor
145-157 St John Street
London
EC1V 4PW
Under no circumstances post the letter without been registered as that could be a get out clause for them not paying by probably saying they never received the letter.
Please can we get as many letters to this company and stop them carrying out there business in this manner.0 -

Have you been looking for a loan and giving your debit card details out to 'lenders'?
If not, I would treat it as an unauthorised transaction, inform my bank and let them sort it out.0 -
Hello everyone,
Please help us! A month or two ago my partner tried to get a payday loan, silly I know but we are in a lot of financial difficulty and it was our only option. We did not visit a webpage entitled Green Leaf Finance Ltd however a few days later money had gone from our account to them - he did not get a loan from them, instead they took his money. I have searched and searched for an email address or even a website for them but have found nothing.
Please help if you can, our rents overdue and we really need our money back.
Thank you0 -
How can they take money out of my bank twice ??? Never even heard of them !!!0

Probably using your debit card details.
When you use your debit card you pass its details on to someone else. What happens to those details after that is anyone's guess.
Report the transaction to your card provider. Get a refund and a replacement card sent to you. Problem solved.0 -
Yes, the last 5 or 6 people to post on this thread are about as useful as a marzipan flavoured toilet brush. This thread is meant to help people not point at them. The FACT is most of these sites do well at hiding these factors, they realize they are walking the line or they wouldn't be so hard to contact. The wording can be suggested or implied they take their funding with the loan, which is what may be interpreted as, thus needs to be clearer, as well as a fail safe way to complain. It's a con, simple as. Now you last few can pull your nappies up.0

Why would a loan BROKER be taking the money from the loan funds? They never see the money - you would have to be seriously thick to interpret it as that.
Follow the instructions earlier in the thread and you might have a chance of getting back the money you foolishly lost.0 -

I said, 'may', not 'did'...policies made by companies such as these are not intended to be clear, I merely glanced at this. Cancellation takes 6 months, but by rights it is only 14 days PLUS NONE of these people who have lost money deal direct with this company.
Now please, amuse me, show me where I said I lost money to them. Your apology will be retorted with only 'Good girl, run along now'.
Now if you do apologize, you might have a chance of getting back the self respect and intellect you foolishly lost...actually, no..scratch that.0 -
I replied in your other post
CAB won't be able to do much.
After writing to Gren Leaf Finance (letter returned from the St Paul's Birmingham Address) and contacting Financial Ombudsman (Read my Previous Posts from Jan 2013), my 49.99 that was charged to my card on 26/11/12 was finally returned yesterday (presumably after veing 6 months outstanding) - Perseverance does work, as does writing letters and not email...
Thanks for advice give on here by some individuals. Taught me a lesson, never put in card details unless you want your card charged, no matter what the high level T&Cs state.
