I will openly admit i should of researched the company i used before entering any details, but as ive said before- there sites are designed to mislead and to make you believe there offering you a loan AS A LENDER not a broker.
After they have your details it becomes more obvious what there actual intention is and thats to charge you....but by then its too late
Its easy to hide behind your monitor and accuse everybody of being stupid/dumb etc etc but this doesnt help one bit.
if you aint got anything useful to say then say nothing
But you wouldn't give a stranger on the street who offered loans your bank details would you? So why give a stranger from a google search your details.
It's not rocket science it's pure stupidity IMO.0 -

Have you read the rest of this thread?
Have you been applying / searching for loans online? Have you entered your bank details on to a site whilst looking for a loan?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
As Tixy says above, read all of this thread then get out your pen and paper (don't do anything by phone or email) and write to them by recorded delivery. You should get your money back. Good luck."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0

you entered all your most sensitive bank details onto some random website giving the owners complete access directly into your account to take as much money as they wanted to.
Good job you only lost "some", it could have been "lots"0 -
It doesnt matter why they took out or researched the loans that is down to them what matters is they have come on here for help and advise not to be judged. For those of you who are in a situtation where you do not feel any finacial strain I congratulate you well done but for some of us it is very hard to hold on to our jobs knowing there are cuts being made...with children to support and morgages to pay and bills becoming more and more expensive and food to come to that....I have made lots of cut backs since my husband walked out on us leaving unpaid bills to pay and have often been tempted by loans....a quick fix situation....but thankfully listened to advise from a friend set up direct debits for bills using one bank account and what ever is lft over divided in to how many weeks are in the month some months I struggle more than others. But I would never judge anyone who was asking for help.0

Ozmanthus, here's their justification, (taken from their website) i suppose you didn't read their terms and conditions ?
Fees
We charge a fee of up to £49.99 for providing our Personal Service to you for acting as your Exclusive Personal Finance Broker, this exclusivity lasts for a period of 6 months from the date of your application with us. We specify the fee as part of our communications with you. To clarify this, our fee is taken once your application for a loan has been accepted by one or more of our Lenders, this from our approved Bank of Lenders. To facilitate us processing payments and repayments, you authorise us to retain your charge, credit and or debit card details. If a Lender or Financier makes you a Loan or Finance offer, in addition to the fee we may also receive a variable commission from the lender or financier and you agree that we may retain it.
While I accept that these are the conditions of them charging a fee, it was taken from my account the day that I submitted an application and no loan has been accepted in the last 2 months so quite clearly they are not playing by their own rules!0 -
They charge you a fee when they accept your Application. This happened to be the second you pressed the "I have read the T&C's and submit my application" button.
The only rules they have to play by is by passing all your personal details out to anyone and everyone as per your instructions to them.0 -
They took £50 from me aswell. but i did not remember submitting my details to a Green Leaf Finance...after checking the history of my activities on Google Chrome...I realized that
* Green Leaf Finance is the same as Personal Loan Finder is a trading style of Frontier Finance Limited (www plfinder co uk )
* Green Leaf Finance Ltd also trades as loansearch.pro
Authority has to be alerted concerning this fraudulent loan broker.
What can you do: you can tell your bank to reverse the money.0 -
