Car got its service today so im £140 lighter, but good news is everything is fine with the car and doesnt need any new tyres/brakes etc

Posted my Ebay things and hoping to sort through some more things tonight if the kids go to bed well. Husband is working late and no one to help me so moving as little as possible tonight to try and save my hips some discomfort. Good news is, Friday will be 1 calendar month until my due date! Hoping baby doesnt decide to hang on til after my due date!

Having got my first 1% quite quickly things have slowed down now, I am £8.70 into my second £20 and have 26 items listed on Ebay but only 1 bid of 99p so far. Hopefully more of them will sell so that I can get up to 2% if not 3%.

Well done to everyone that is doing better than me, I hope I make some more progress soon.
My resignation has been accepted so at the 31st December I will have no job so may be needing my £2,000 buffer if I can't find another one quickly.

Me too, first 1% was easy, but since then its been one thing after another cropping up so haven't been able to add to my savings!

Good luck with the Job hunting :D Thats a very brave step, resigning without a job already lined up, you obviously had you're reasons, so best of Luck. Hope you get sorted soon without having to use the buffer :)

    Hi Everybody,

Well I have gone through all our old books this morning and sent them to fat brain for a grand sum of £17.50. Not bad as I was going to take them to the charity shop next time I was in town. So one box down in the garage.

I have also just done an advert on that fivesquids so will see what happens. I have a few things I can put on there so I am going to add a few more over the next few days.

Also got about eight large boxes to go through and add on ebay so would love a free listings weekend.

    Take care

Had a clear out a few weeks ago so had a bit of an ebay session this afternoon. Listed a few pieces of jewellery that I don't want anymore. It's all costume jewellery so not worth much, but at least that means I can use free listings and if it sells I will be on my way to my first 1%!!

re gig of what we expect to spend is £1600.so new % is £16 getting awkward now as we have bought some of the items we are saving for lol so spent % is 23.43 %, saved is 18.75% (not counting £200 premium bonds unless we cash them) so a total of 42.18 % x(if my maths is correct lol)
I really need to get some more items listed on ebay!

Afternoon. Well im pleased my monthly mum meet, which i usually budget £25 for (and always end up spending that or a bit more) and spent £16.85 as the pub we lunch at had a good offer on :)

Sold something to a friend for £7 so just waiting for her to pay me :)

Not much else happened. The youngest stayed awake until 11.30pm last night!! So didnt get anything done and only just got back since leaving at 9am for the meet up. Daughter has horse riding lesson tonight so thats £15. I dont feel bad spending that as we'd usually spend way more than that on takeaway foods and we have stopped that now (apart from the 2 this week when the kitchen was off limits being tiled).

My % is now £20 having reached my first goal so going to have to really get my wiggle on to make some money!
