I've made an attempt going through existing customer route (Fast Track). It didn't work - "Please call us on 0345 850 5555 to get you set up for Fast Track. We will need your most recent National Insurance Number. We'll update your details as quickly as possible." Don't know whether to try applying as a new customer or call them on Monday to submit my NI number.pecunianonolet said:Not sure if this was already reported but Cynergy Bank launched an Easy Access ISA at 4.35% (not flexible) on 3rd September.

Same here, rather poor show imho. Why can they not simply add a form like literally anyone else and capture that data during application is beyond me.allegro120 said:

One thing to bear in mind is the Cynergy Online ISA at 4.35% is NOT flexible if that matters to people opening a new ISA0

I went for new customer application, but had to abandon it. When it came to "Choose your existing cash ISA provider" CMC wasn't on the list and you cant' just type it in. The whole point was to find a new home for my CMC ISA.1 -
I've decided to go with VIDA. CMC isn't on their drop-down list either, but at least they let you download and fill in an application form and either submit it by email or print off and send to their FREEPOST address.I went for new customer application, but had to abandon it. Cynergy has a "if your name's not down, you're not coming (transferring) in" thing, and when I checked CMC was not listed.allegro120 said:

Yes, Cynergy have a list of providers they accept and CMC is not on their list and it seems that's the case with many providers too. I spoke with Coventry on the phone and they said they accept CMC but only via paper form so downloaded the form and sent it off to Coventry using one of the many Freepost envelopes I still have.allegro120 said:

I was thinking that you could open the Cynergy ISA before they withdraw it. I think they give you 35 days to fund it before it gets automatically closed. Surely, if they give 35 days that should also include providing transfer in instructions. In my and OH's case, that would mean that as soon as funds are landed with Coventry's 4.15% 5 Access ISA the transfer to Cynergy would be initiated and should not take long from there due to electronic transfer procedure.1 -
Out of ISA accounts I currently have I can only use Paragon for transfers to Cynergy. I still have a small allowance for this tax year so I've opened Cynergy issue 56 with £1 for now. Also requested a full transfer from CMC to Paragon. Paragon allows transfers from unlisted ISA providers, just need to submit a "paper" form which can be e-mailed to them. I've done a couple of transfers to Paragon from unlisted providers recently and it worked. When this is done I will request a transfer from Paragon to Cynergy.pecunianonolet said:

Did you phone them in the end to provide your NI number or did you use the new customer route and they merged profiles?allegro120 said:
