I went for new customer application, but had to abandon it. When it came to "Choose your existing cash ISA provider" CMC wasn't on the list and you cant' just type it in. The whole point was to find a new home for my CMC ISA.
I was thinking that you could open the Cynergy ISA before they withdraw it. I think they give you 35 days to fund it before it gets automatically closed. Surely, if they give 35 days that should also include providing transfer in instructions. In my and OH's case, that would mean that as soon as funds are landed with Coventry's 4.15% 5 Access ISA the transfer to Cynergy would be initiated and should not take long from there due to electronic transfer procedure.0 -

What are people experiences transferring ISAs out of Natwest?
I got a text from them on Thursday morning confirming they are progressing my transfer but money is still sitting there, earning a poor 1.15%.
Just wondering how much longer it'll take them0 -

Was told there were a dozen or more 'notes' on my account confirming all was ready to go - and funds would go out that day. Funds are still in my account today though - so haven't been transferred yet.
My new provider is quite relaxed (it is going to a fixed rate ISA but they will accept it however long it takes NW. Got through to a human within 30 seconds calling them post a simple Non AI menu (current savings customer - press 2!!).
They have up to 15 days as has been said!1 -
Note: that's 15 working days....which can be up to 3 calender weeks (or more).0

Nat West
My experience so far hasn't been good, completed transfer form Nat West to Shawbrook 3 weeks before maturity ticking the "wait for maturity' option expecting with that much notice, the transfer would be quick on maturity only to be told Nat West have 15 working days from the maturity date not from the date of request. Excessively slow IMHOIf you want to be rich, never, ever have kids1 -
The 15 working days is for the entire ISA transfer process though, with bits of that split between different elements of the ISA transfer process. Not all of those days are for NatWest to squander.
Sadly I lost the near 6% NatWest ISA fix a couple of years ago because that gang of clowns completely messed up my transfer in, and the complaints process was dire, so I sincerely hope the transfers out go better for you.2 -
