We did a transfer Shawbrook to Vida, it only took 2 days. We were very impressed.2

In my experience the delay is with T212 transfer out. I did Moneybox to T212 and it took a day or two. I did two separate T212 to Tembo and took nearly 15 days each time. Moneybox to Tembo took a few days, less than a week.Aidanmc said:10_66 said:Vida
I'm thinking of transferring to Vida's Cash ISA. Has anyone who's transferred into a Vida Cash ISA had any issues, please? I realise transfers from Zopa might have had issues (going on my recent experience with Zopa).I'm have big issues transferring to Vida from T212Application sent to Vida on 17 April, they kept telling me T212 is not responding, T212 tells me they never received application. I discover Vida is sending request to wrong T212 email address (3 times).14 May Vida sends request to correct T212 email address.19 May T212 sends ISA funds to Vida, Vida reject deposit as T212 used incorrect reference number.Vida return funds to T212 (but not in my 212 account, must be in 212 holding account)21 May Vida contact T212 to ask them to resend using correct reference26 May still waiting!Lost 8 days interest so far1 -

I am new to Chip and have opened a new Chip cash ISA boosted to 4.99%. My Monument cash ISA drops to 4.25% on 29/5. It seems obvious to transfer all my Monument cash ISA to Chip cash ISA. But I am slightly concerned about the Chip cash ISA, in that although the boost of .93% is for 12 months and cannot change, the tracker part .26% below BOE rate is variable and they could easily increase the percentage below BOE rate. Does Chip have a history of changing the tracker discount?

Nice. I've been very happy with T212 but think it's time to move on.pecunianonolet said:Chip ISA has appeared again at 4.99% with 12 month bonus

In a situation like this, is that because Shawbrook are great, Vida are great, or does it require both to be? Is most of the responsibility for a transfer going well on the sending or receiving bank?katies_mum said:We did a transfer Shawbrook to Vida, it only took 2 days. We were very impressed.0 -
I think you'll find it's down to the luck of the draw. If you expect the worst but hope for the best you won't be quite as disappointed as you might have been. 😊😊Zaul22 said:

I fully closed my Chip account last week after it’s been doormat since last year after transferring to T212
Just thought I would try and open a new Chip account and apply for a ISA using a different email address
Surprised it’s been accepted ISA opened as well and promo code entered just waiting to see if it’s applied
£1 credited
Edit 😯 bonus applied8 -

We were very impressed.I had a Chip to Charter initiated on 27th April complete on 1st May. My partner who initiated on same day is yet to complete. It has been rejected 3 times. Initially they were told it was rejected due to an address mismatch. After correcting that and getting Charter to reinitiate it, it was rejected again. This time they opened a new account and restarted. It took a week for Chip to come back but this time they said that both were being rejected because a partial transfer had been requested (even though it hadn't).Now because Charter only allow you to initiate a transfer online at opening (and they have no new easy access isa's to open) they have had to send a paper transfer form to Charter to try again which is currently in transit.I will add at this point that both myself and partner completed the request exactly the same way and the same address "mismatch" was on both of our accounts but mine went through swimmingly. So totally agree that it is luck of the draw.
