I didn't fix but what's your penalty and how much can you profit from getting penalised?Thumbs_Up said:Amazing how the ISA fixed savings rates have kick on. I took out a 2 year fix with Shawbrook at 4.20%. Lol, how I got this wrong. Anyone thinking of forfeiting a penalty to transfer your money elsewhere?
It might be worthwhile to hold out a little longer as the rates look like they are still increasing at the moment1 -
Isn’t it just. I transferred to 3 year virgin at 4.41% last week which is now 4.62%. They say I can move to that as still in the cooling off period but I’m now thinking of moving it back to easy access as the rates keep rising and going my the media you would have to assume they will keep risingThumbs_Up said:Amazing how the ISA fixed savings rates have kick on. 4.5% on 2 year from Kent Reliance, not top rate but interesting due to their flexibility in being able to fund it throughout the fixed term.1
