It's reappeared as a 2-year fix at 1.25% http://www.leedsbuildingsociety.co.uk/savings/isa-tax-free-accounts/2-year-fixed-rate-isa/
The Clydesdale/Yorkshire bank one year fixed rate bond ISA paying 1.35% has also been removed from their website. It had been branch only openings for the last couple of weeks anyway.

Staying off topic:o
Many of us cycle money through multiple accounts - lots of information available.
I assume your 'main';) current account is with FD? No interest:(.
An upgrade of a dormant Lloyds account to Club Lloyds is a possible start.
Also take a look at Nationwide Flexdirect 5% on £2500 (only for a year though) with a linked 5% regular saver, and TSB Classic Plus 5% on £2k. A couple of Tesco 3% on £3k are also useful with no DD or minimum monthly funding requirements.
Thank you - Sounds good.
Does the Nationwide Flexdirect account have DD requirements ?0 -
Am really p*ssed off at the lack of options. Coincidentally I had just transferred an old cash ISA into my FD at the end of last month, stupidly thinking I could go away contented. Just a few days later and this happens.
Bank of Cyprus, anyone? I'm encouraged it has UK protection and branches in the City Of London, but can it be trusted?Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Thank you - Sounds good.
Does the Nationwide Flexdirect account have DD requirements ?
What did the T&C say when you read them?

Nationwide are knocking .25% off all variable rates as from 1 September. I guess others will follow.
Edit: If rate already at .25%, it will be .1 %0 -
Letter from Coventry BS arrived today telling me of a cut from 2.15% to 1.75 % on Privilege ISA. I think this is disgusting. A 0.4% rate cut instead of 0.25% !! How do they justify this?
I would like to see a bank/BS with principles eg the CE of RBS who hinted at balancing the needs of savers too. Savers have sacrificed enough time and time again to bail out borrowers. Enough is enough. The borrowers should swallow this rate cut, not savers this time. Rates were 0.5% from zero for goodness sake!0 -
