Just had a look at the Yorkshire Bank 40 day notice ISA - from 17/04 they are no longer accepting transfers in (applies to new and existing customers).

Same is true for Clydsedale's equivalent isa
For new customers, wouldn't this be regarded as a variation in the t&c and therefore they have to give 60 days notice? - see section 17 http://www.cbonline.co.uk/resources/1702e3804f81ec05a8bebfc817e3d067/CS7-070415.pdf
Sent off the application in the post last week, so I may not get in by the 17th anyway, but if I did I was intending to to transfer another isa to take me over the 2% threshold. If not, I may as well cancel the transfer as I can get 1.5% without notice at Nationwide.0 -
All existing Clydesdale investors, remember to move onto the 5 year fixed rate issue 28 paying 2.7%, and consider moving any rubbish cash ISAs from elsewhere into it.illegitimi non carborundum0

Yes - the terms they say they are supposed to give 60 days notice to change the terms and the ability to transfer in forms part of the terms. So surely by not giving 60 days personal notice they are stopping transfers in they are in breach.
More confusion - as the account is now confusingly advertised on the application page as only paying up to 1.5% - not 2%.
That of course arises from the fact you need £24k to get the 2% rate - and that's not possible in 2015-16 now for new customers (but existing customers could of course!) as you can't make transfers in from today.

Still 2% over £24k on their interest rates page though

Lucky me - invested with DotCon and YB/CB.:D0 -

Hi, the Shawbrook 1.70% 1 year fixed rate ISA already features on the list on the first page.
If you look at the one year fixed rate ISAs that allow transfers in - it is the third ISA down. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

I don't know if this has already been discussed, but is it worth mentioning HSBC's Save Together offer on their Loyalty Cash ISA, which requires an Advance current account and pays £10 per month on either a £300 lump sum deposit/transfer or monthly deposit of £25?0

Does anyone understand the Ts&Cs for the HSBC Loyalty ISA required to qualify for the Save Together offer?A Loyalty rate applies for 12 months* from the date of each payment into your ISA. If you make further payments into your ISA, your Loyalty rate period will begin again from the date of each payment. Upon the expiry of your Loyalty rate period, you will earn a standard rate of interest until you make a further payment.
Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
