Don't know whether it has been pulled but please visit this thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5241775

And search for similar, there are horrible reports. Basically, people have been having very bad experiences getting their money out of Post Office accounts.

How much are you trying to stash away? Why for two years? May be there are better alternatives than ISAs. What is your tax rate? What's your credit worthiness? Depends on your circumstances.

5-10k, only said two years always a bit reluctant to stash it away any longer - normal tax rate, credit rating should be good.

Have you already filled the current accounts?

only got the one current account, just for everyday use - I realise the rates for ISA has gone down but wasn't sure if it would be beneficial to open a current account with a greater rate less tax.

Given your additional information, you would definitely earn more interest with interest paying current accounts, complemented perhaps by some of the regular savings accounts that pay 4 or 6 % AER.

What's better, 5% taxed or 1% tax free?

    I know which I'd choose.
