Always 2 trains of thought, not quite sure what your opinion is now?.
It was a very tongue in cheek post on my part.
Me, I've done the fast cars thing without wasting much money, never had much luck with the fast women, one was enough for me .
But I do have plenty stashed away in cash. Investments?, every single time I have dabbled, with the exception of my pension which was obviously over a much greater period, I have lost £Ks which took probably 5 years each time to recover from, bad timing on my part, but to me says unless you know what you are doing get the cash in place 1st :T.
Sorry for the digressionI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

I think thats where you made your mistake......Im fairly sure the phrase is fast cars and loose women......going for fast cars and fast women is only going to end in tears IMHO
Reminds me of the George Best comment......cant remember the exact phrase but he says he spent most of his money on cars booze women and gambling, and squandered the restillegitimi non carborundum0 -
I put up that post to stir some controversy. I haven't gone out of my mind, and don't really suggest anyone do the same, unless their situation allows it. Anyway, we should continue this discussion on the other thread and not distract people from this most excellent thread by Kazza.

Annoyed with Northern Rock.
Just realised that after your FRISA ends, you go on to a 30-day ISA requiring 30 days notice or loss of 30 days' interest!
Hidden away in their letter, not explained clearly but still, IMHO a very sneaky move. Other ISA managers move you onto low-rate instant access ISA on maturity but not these silly people!
Rant over.Tough times never last longer than tough people.0
