Stafford Railway BS pays 3%, no bonus period, allows transfers in.
To get this rate you need £40K+ though.0 -

Yes, it recently changed to 3.75% but it was 4.00% at the time. I amended it when it changed that evening. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
No, that end date was always 3.75%. You were showing two different 4.00% rates with different end dates - and the earlier end date was simply an error. Sorry.0

OK, I haven't had to transfer out so can't comment on that but the service in setting up a new joint current account and two ISA (OH & me) with Alliance & Leicester (Santander) has gone absolutely smoothly with no problems at all.
I look forward to cyclonebri1 letting us know regarding the transfer out situation.
As for waiting or buying now, well I didn't wait when the A&L had the guaranteed 3% above boe and I'm so glad because within days it had gone to the currently available guaranteed 2.7% above boe. And to quote cyclonebri1 again, 'All still heading steeply in one direction:eek:,' i.e. down. Ultimately to buy or not to buy and when to make the decision is your call.:)

Letter back from Halifax, funds received from 2 other banks but nothing from Santander yet, they are "chasing it up" to quote the letter:eek:I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

DIRECT ISA - FIXED RATE TO 30 APRIL 2014: a fixed term postal operated cash ISA maturing 30.4.14 with a minimum investment of £100 paying 3.75% yearly.
Thanks for the updates anyway, Kazza - I appreciate the huge amount of effort it is to keep the tables up to date.0 -

This is info from eMoneyfacts, but what did it say on the actual Kent Reliance website at the time...(I don't mean now)...
I often have to amend (incorrect) info that is originally posted on eMoneyfacts when I go to the actual bank or building society's website and find that the details are different. The 3.75% rate is no longer on the list anyway and hasn't been for a little while now...MarkyMarkD wrote: »Thanks for the updates anyway, Kazza - I appreciate the huge amount of effort it is to keep the tables up to date.
Thanks, but sometimes I don't think some people understand just how much work, effort and time goes into keeping the list up-to-date.
EDIT: I can see what I did now as I keep weekly backups of the list. I had listed the 4.00% September 2014 Kent Reliance ISA under the 4 year fixes twice with the same URL listed twice too! I then amended one of the duplicate listings later. Anyway, doesn't matter a great deal now, as I'd removed the Apr 2014 ISA from the list some time ago. There's no point either of use wasting anymore time on something that isn't even on the list of ISAs anymore...Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
Santander 3.2% finished now.
Hello Froggitt. Which Santander 3.2% ISA is finished now? Do you mean the Flexible ISA 2? Santander have restricted it to new and existing current account customers, who fund the current account with a minimum of £1K per month and set up at least 2 direct debits or standing orders on the account. This isn't ideal for most people who were thinking of opening one before the restrictions came into effect. It's a bit of a shame that they've opted to do this, but the Barclays Golden ISA 2 isn't a bad alternative at 3.10%.
I am thinking of moving it (and the A&L ISA) to a 'restricted availability' section of the list. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
Yup thats what I meant by finished......finished to 95% of the population. RA is a good description of it.illegitimi non carborundum0
