It says 3.78% on their website?

That's odd. It's not mentioned on their website when you go on there.

Thanks. Although never heard of them.

I have gone ahead and opened the ISA with Monument, I'm afraid I did already have a refferal from someone else so sorry for those on here hoping for a little pay day through me 😂 I actually like their app alot, the opening process was quick and simple and when I needed to query something the live chat with a real person was instant. I'm quite impressed and it's a shame they didn't offer some fixed rate accounts otherwise I might have stayed there.

Is your £10k deposit new money (2026-2027 contributions) or a transfer from an ISA with previous years money?
If it is new money, you could just withdraw it rather than doing a transfer as Monument is flexible. You might even have time to get the 90 day 6% interest at XTB as well.

I've not gone through those links, as I'm heading to bed. There are problems with ISA transfers at times between 2 parties for one reason or another. I cannot think of any bank names off the top of my head, and it's not my place here to mention anyway, but have definitely read about them on the forum. I've already said that my transfer from Monument to Vida earlier this year was very easy and took 2 days.
I am not enticing you to go with Monument, far from it, but I had no problems at all. Only gripe I had was the very sudden drop in interest rate last year shortly after opening. If I could have got the bonus rate this year, I would have taken it, as they are one of the few flexible providers who don't limit you to a certain number of withdrawals. You keep bringing up that they are difficult to transfer from, but am sure if you check the forum for other banks, you will find problems at times with them too. There really is no point in keep bringing up the topic repeatedly on this same thread. If you don't want to go with them, don't, pick another.7 -
Totally agree, the repeated concerns by the same poster about Monument appear to be unwarranted but if they don't like Moument, they should just go with a different provider.
FWIW, my own experience with Monument was good. When they cut their rate, I transferred out (large 5 figure amount). My notes from the transfer: "requested 02/07/2025 20:48; Monument sent money on 03/07. Tembo credited 07/07 + backdated interest". I had previously transferred into Monument from KRBS - requested 30/04, completed 02/05. Superb service, by any measure, even if the good rate only lasted a couple of months.6
