I think I would wait until the start of May, I trust you have received your yearly bonus. Don't move if you have not. I moved to Paragon and it took over 20 days and then only after I made a complaint to Plum, good luck.

I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

HSBC: I submitted application online (not in app) on Sunday the 12th, they say it can take up to 5 days to open the account. I do not see anything in online banking as off today. When the account is actually opened, what is going to be the start date? Will they backdate it to Sunday, or will it be some later date? I have some RS maturing that I would like to use to fund the account, but I might miss the window if it backdated to Sunday.

Should use the word 'variable' rather than 'flexible' rate. Otherwise confusion with flexible ISAs will ensue!

I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Any one else having issues with HSBC transfer delays and slow progress

There is a separate thread but given the cashback and 4.5% fixed rate isa product is still live perhaps we can discuss problems here - as quite a few of us must have applied.

I am still waiting for a transfer requested in late March to happen (funds still sitting with my current provider - although they have confirmed via an app message they have the request but HSBC have sent me no communication on the transfer process) - and another poster had their funds leave their current provider on 1 April but two weeks on the funds still haven't appeared in their HSBC isa.

Has anyone else applied and had their transfer completed to HSBC - and if so what were the timings?

I've applied and submitted a request to transfer Cash ISA from Vida Savings, but it said I need to wait for a transfer form to be sent to me in the post, to them complete, and then post back to them. Seems a very long winded process, especially when Vida Savings inform me that they accept electronic transfer requests.

Need to wait for the transfer to complete so I can then make an additional deposit into the fixed rate product to ensure I meet the threshold for a higher amount of cashback.

You can transfer now. The bonus will be credited before the funds are sent to the new provider. I just did this for an ISA opened on 7th April. All went very smoothly for me and completed in a couple of days.

You would lose this month's basic interest (which is at a pretty low rate anyway).

Is anyone still waiting on transfers to be completed? I sent them 3 emails with in total 4 transfer forms and it took for each email at least 5-6 days for a response to confirm they have received it. It's been now another week since confirmation to my first email. No further updates received.

Are they just super slow or snowed under with transfer requests? They've got transfer in requests from Aldermore, Cynergy, Chip and Virgin Money so should technically all be able to do electronic transfers.

30-40 pages ago people said their transfers went through rather quick so just wondering… and waiting…

    Ends today.

I'm not aware of any time limit. Think I waited a couple of weeks before withdrawing.
