I opened mine on 20th March. I asked for a transfer form to transfer £20K from T212. They took 6 days to send it and I phoned on 30th March to get confirmation they had it back. T212 emailed for confirmation I wanted the transfer out on 1st April. They transfered it out to HSBC 20 minutes later. I have been on live chat 4 times, and they are useless even when you get past the bot to an agent. I have phoned twice and got conflicting information. Both times they confirmed they had the money, but said it was in process and could take 15 working days (3 weeks). I argued that the 15 working days was a max to allow for both sides to do their jobs and since T212 took 20 minutes they should surely take no more than a couple of days to do theirs. Still no money today, and the app shows no information about the progress of the transfer. Apalling really. Laughingly they emailed saying I needed to fund within 30 days or the account would be closed!

take it you can’t be referred if you’ve already opened the account

Yeah unfortunately i found out after i opened the account, about right eh!
Account has been sorted and opened, just started a transfer from Moneybox.
Spoke to someone on live chat briefly too, got to say, was impressed. Quick to respond, polite etc.
Lets see how it goes…

I saw someone say earlier in the thread Monument are a bit dodgy with transfers out though and I'd rather not have to go through a rigmarole to get it transferred out when I'm only doing it to get the bonus and will want it transferred back out asap. Whether a load of hassle is worth £50 is debatable!

The interest rate isn't great though, even if it is flexible. It's less than 4%

same here
Typical you find out afterwards, I started a transfer Fri from Chip and it’s at the final stage of waiting funds to transfer across already very smooth

Sigh. It's 4.28% for new customers. (3.74% + 0.54% Bonus)
New customers will always have the bonus rate propping them up for the first 12 months.

Interest is 4.28% including the bonus rate which lasts until 10th April 2027
