Thanks for that, I assumed that a flexible isa could be transferred whenever unlike a fixed isa. I reckon that this may catch a few people out down the line & I look forward to the rants coming up on this forum ;-)

You'll still be asking questions come this time next year. Just pick one before they shift rates!

Ive put this year's £20K with PBS @ 4.2%and will be transferring £25K from another ISA into it in a couple of weeks. I've got a lot in fixed rate ISAs but this year I wanted easy access (and flexible) as we don't know where interest rates are going.

Yes, you are right. I checked back emails and did indeed have to validate nominated account back in 2023. Nominated account has never been changed, and I have never been asked again. It's no wonder I didn't remember about this going back 3 years ago.

@NebulaNova
It can be difficult to choose, especially if you've not done an ISA before, and can be overwhelmed with all the different T's & C's, which you really do have to pay close attention to. However, you do have a point, rates have changed with some over the last week. I got in for a fixed with Tandem at 4.51% on 8th April, I think next day it had gone down. It's down now anyway.
No idea about Atom, but why would you pick that as it's a lower rate than some of the others you mentioned and it's not flexible? Not that I have any idea whether you want flexible or not.0 -
I would you like Flexible but there isn't any higher

Don't want to scaremonger but I read that Atom Bank is in talks about a potential sale.

Why does the Monument Bank Easy Access Cash ISA Boosted Rate @ 4.28% not appear on the list on page 1 of this thread? Are Monument on the naughty step for some reason? Thanks.

It also disappeared form the MSE top ISA list.
And there was no mention of the £50 referral fee which may tip the balance for some.

They are fine. Had accounts for a few years.
Didn't think they offered ISAs?
