Cash ISAs: The Best Currently Available List

CMC to Coventry is a real pain just now, CMC to Virgin for the OH a real pain. Anything that involves paper forms is a real disatster and decided not to open accounts with any proviers anymore that do not participate in electronic transfers.

Paper transfers not always an issue, I transferred from Teachers BS to Chorley BS, the amount was debited from TBS on day 2, credited at Chorley on day 3, and I received notice that it had been completed on day 6.
Possibly helps that these were two small societies rather than "new" players

I had a notice of rate reduction letter from the Marden today from 4.30% to 4.05% with effect from 01/03/2026 😫

The Marsden online cash ISA (issue 7) 4.15% AER is indeed no longer available. It hasn't lasted very long has it (it came out on 12th Febrary)? It's not yet been updated on their closed accounts list, only the issue 6 is on there (on page 7)
I came, I saw, I melted1 -
Did it actually ever exist? After reporting it on the 12th (when it wasn't on the website), I checked multiple times on Friday, over the weekend and Monday and it was never shown on their Website. At best this seems like a "flash of ankle" account.

Yes I think it did exist. Happybagger pointed out earlier it was on the online part of their website, and I remember looking as a result and seeing it there.

It might be slightly off topic but I thought it worth pointing out that if anyone opened that "1 year" fixed rate coventry ISA that ran until 31st May at about 4.13%, the funding window for transfers in closes this Thursday, 14 days after it was withdrawn.
I'm scrabbling a bit trying to fund it, and posted a new thread asking if anyone had experience of partial transfers of flexibly withdrawn Skipton ISAs, and whether they allow you to put the withdrawn money back in after a partial transfer out:

The isBank 4.35% 1 year fix is still showing in Meteor, alongside a 4.2% rate for what appears to be the exact same account. I don't know whether this is an error but you can currently still apply for it. It takes a business day before they confirm or reject your application.

But did we decide that you have to transfer in specualtively first and then it's down to what's available on the day the transfer is complete? Out of interest, is it the same for Hargreaves Lansdown active savings?
