Just looking to transfer my Monument instant access cash ISA to Charter. It would be in full including previous and current year subscriptions. I'm finding this condition contradicts itself where highlighted. I read it as I am unable to transfer followed by I am able to transfer. Can I or can't I 😕
Under HMRC regulations and where a provider allows, you are permitted to subscribe with multiple Cash ISA providers within the same tax year (6 April to 5 April). You are currently unable to subscribe with us if you have already subscribed with another provider, so if you're transferring your current ISA subscription, this has to be made in full. You can transfer your previous years ISA subscription either partially or in full.
Thank you, Steve

Translation - You can't give us new money if you've already given new money to someone else. Transfer all their new money to us and then you can give us new money (up to £20K total per year). Old money you can do what you like.

Just means that any subscriptions made in this tax year need to move entirely so a full transfer should be no problem. Also, transfers in can be restricted but every provider must allow you to transfer out. If in full, no issue. It would be more complex if you would want to leave some money behind. Just give it a go and see what happens.

I think it means that if you transfer only part of this years subscription you will end up with this years subscription split between 2 ISA which is not allowed under the terms and conditions of this particular bank. There has been lots of discussion over this rule and how it is unenforceable. I think most banks etc. have removed this stipulation from their terms and conditions

Meteor don’t hold the rate for you. The way it works - you transfer to Meteor ISA first and when the transfer is complete you can put your funds in any ISA product that is currently available, so there’s always a risk that your desired product will be NLA.
I think the money is held in HSBC whilst in transit.

Does anyone have any idea if either the Tesco or Skipton cash ISAs offer instant withdrawals?

Skipton takes up to two hours, if requested before 15:30.

Vida Savings Double Access ISA Issue 1 - 4.16% AER
https://www.vidabank.co.uk/savings/products/products/cash-isas/double-access-isa-issue-1/
Anyone experience with Vida? How is customer service, are they fix with transfers in and out, electonic transfers only I guess. What's the rate reduction policy, 14 days?
Pretty good rate so don't think this will be around for long.
