Thanks to all for your support, it makes it easier knowing others are trying too.
My first day of eating more sensibly today, so far going OK. Had HM muesli for brekkie and am having large salad with tomato and herb torilla for lunch. Have also just had a sveltesse rhubarb yogurt - yummy.
My SC arrived todayso I am having a trawl through the recipies in a mo to see what I can put on for tea tonight and freeze for the next few weeks. I would love to do some soups but my downfall is eating loads of hot buttered toast with it
Must go, good luck to all.

Hiya.
I posted on here before my holiday, and now im back on the slimming wagon. To be honest I didnt put any weight on, on holiday, but since I got back I was stuffing my face, ooops, so for the past 10 days I have been back at the gym & making a real effort.
Im 5ft 11 - and weigh 13st. So a size 14/16. Ideally I would love to get to 10st, but I think that might be a bit much to lose as im quite tall, so initially to get to 11st would be fab.
My gym routine is: Mon, Wed & Friday AM - 1hr Cardio, Wed PM - 1hr Bodypump, and Sat AM - 1hr Bodypump. Also starting Pilates this Sunday....... Although this isnt an excuse, I have an underactive thyroid, and i find, that unless I exercise my butt off I WONT lose weight, and even then its hard!! :0( The bodypump is excellent for defining your body, and I think my weight isnt dropping because im building muscle, so thats hard, but think i'll have to bear with it, as I really enjoy BP.
Looseley following WW, but am not tracking my points, which I know I should be doing, I just balance things out in my head, I feel as though I always go off the rails and get obsessed when I write EVERYTHING down.... I made "0-point" roasted Butternutsquash & onion soup last night, so thats quite nice to tuck into knowing its "0 points"...
Im too scared to weigh myself weekly as I get disheartened when I havent lost anything, so perhaps i'll take my measurements, although I never seem to be able to do that properly!!
Anyway, sorry to ramble on!!!

Congrats velvetglove. you must feel GREAT :T
Feels good to be doing something about this again, hopefully will stay motivated this time. Do you think I am better off weighing daily or weekly?

I also recommend measuring yourself, sometimes if you haven't lost any weight it can be encouraging to find that you have lost half an inch. Inch loss is slower though so don't expect to lose half an inch every week.
Meanwhile I'm as fat as ever, well not quite, but the steroids really did play havoc with my metabolism which I am assured is quite normal and it WILL get better (although only if I don't pig out because I'm fed up of being fat again!)Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Stayed the same this week, but I was expecting that as I've had a bad food week.WW Gold Member, trying to maintain !!!Hayden born July 07Tabitha born April 05Poppy born July 030
