Looks like they have started a new company - their facebook link connects to www newcardeals com. It is the same phone number, different email and different address - located in Sheffield. Looks the website is under construction as we speak0

I tried to contact Kia UK to try and find that out on Wednesday. They were unable to help. Also tried some Kia dealers around as Autofinders website says that the cars are delivered usually between 10-50 miles away, but sometimes up to 200. Had no luck with any of that.
My customer area works but has not been updated since the 30th March, the day after the order. Following advice from a lawyer, they say that even that 'error' breaks their contract with me and I should be free to get out with return of deposit. Not sure how those of you who haven't been informed that your car is available will stand but I just sent a recorded delivery letter to them today asking to cancel my contract and return my deposit, plus making it clear that I would happily take things further if the had any dispute. Still a bit worried but am going to stand my ground - the lack of information from them has prevented me from picking up my car on the date we arranged - kind of glad actually.0 -

iF ANYONE GETS ANY FURTHER INFO PLEASE UPDATE0 -
Hi Guys
I contacted Nissan UK and this is their response:-
Thank you for your e-mail to Nissan on 29/06/12 regarding vehicle ordering.
While we are sorry to hear of your issue, we are unable to assist in this matter. We can only provide assistance with vehicles ordered directly from Nissan dealerships and could not establish if your vehicle was in fact ordered in the first place and if it was, with which dealership or even if through Nissan UK rather than Nissan Malta or Nissan Cyprus as some online vehicle supermarkets happen to do.
I hope this information has been useful. If there is anything else that you feel we may be able to assist with, or if you would like a test drive in any of our models, please do not hesitate to contact us at Nissan Customer Support
on 08457 669966. You may also visit us at nissan for further details on any of our vehicles and for a selection of e-brochures.
Yours Sincerely,
Nissan Customer Service GB

I purchased and collected a Kia Sportage on 19th April 2012. This was no problem. However obtaining the V5C is proving to be a very big problem. Suggest not dealing with these guys who appear to have set up again as newcar-deals.com. Anybody up for meeting them at their new premises and putting some pressure on them?0
-
Similar issues - been trying to get a V5C for six months.
I see the new site also claims to be a member of the RMIF, so that might be a good angle to apply pressure. Going the legal route will be useless if Autofinders ceases to exist, but I would have thought the RMIF might be rather unhappy at a new company with the same phone number...0 -
Just been rung by a former employee who took my order but left 3 months ago. They have gone under but my car is available with the suppliers and he tells me he is working his way through all his previous orders to try and sort things. He via the suppliers have offered me the exact same deal and delivery of car next week, not through autofinders. He appears to be genuine so anyone who dealt with Dave shaw may find contacting him useful - depending on the status of your order0
-
Wow that's great news but make sure you get a V5!!
Which site did you order from? I dealt with James Coombs at chesterfield but haven't had any corrospondance.
Have you written proof that they have gone under as if they. Have I will claim back my deposit through my credit card company.
Cheers

I would be careful about buying the car as I have just seen their new website. Already selling the same cars! It might be a guy from the new company selling the car as he would be an exemployee!
Personally I would give them a wide birth and buy from one of the more respected online sites for a few quid more. That's what I intend to do once I have confirmation that they have actually gone under and are no longer trading and don't turn up with a car at the end of the 12week period demanding the cash!0 -
