I put my transfer form in the post this morning having setup a few standing orders on a spare account as well.
If they are paying out then rude not to
Yep sent mine off today too! Even sent it recorded delivery so they can't claim to have 'lost it'.
Will be interesting to see if they actually pay up!0 -

In my mind its equivalent to around half a years interest on £3k in the top-paying mini cash ISA, so definitely worth the trouble.
5 working days later, still no £100I've sent them a message via Internet Banking asking where it is.
EDIT: Just got home to a letter confirming the transfer has gone through, Direct Debits will take up to 10 more working days to transfer.
There's also a direct number for the Accounts Transfer Team if you have any queries with your transfer: 01793 656655 (9am-5pm Mon-Fri) I'm gonna ring tomorrow to find out where the £100 is!Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -
Don't rely on the internet messaging service - I wrote about 10 days ago and still have not had a reply!!
To try and speed things up, I found a telephone number on the internet (08457 30 20 10) but it rang and rang and rang. Then I had a brainwave and found an international number that I dialed just by replacing the +44 with '0'. If you want to try this number (very helpful customer services), its: 01793 6567890 -
Nationwide has now today receipt of my signed transfer authority and has contacted the switched-DD originators to amend their details (The fact there's only one, and I can amend it myself online is besides the point) There's also a new A&L single payment sat on my Flex online details. So that £100 must be on its way!

got my £100 today
Easy money! Was thinking of switching accounts anyway, so the bribe was all I needed. Had enough of cahoot and am closing my A&L account which I only got for the regular saver last year. I know A&L are still Martin's top pick, but their online banking is rubbish IMHO.

Thanks to Missile for your reply.
Please excuse my naivety but can MrChips and Yant1 please explain how they're going to run this account? Will you be paying in £1,000 a month and then moving it straight away??
Also, has anyone opened a Flex Account who has a Nationwide mortgage? As on the form they have sent me to sign they have said that if I have a Nationwide mortgage (which I do) this will be taken by internal transfer from the Flex Account. Has anyone been able to get around this as I don't really want to mess with my mortgage payments!
Thanks for your help.
Rob
I have loads of money :rotfl: plus you only need to fund it once to get the K :T0 -
I think they have paid this to me now (after the 5 working days from acknowledgment of signed authourisation as advised). Did anyone else get this description though?

I was an existing flex account holder who used that account and credit card last year for a trip to Oz with no fees for using atm then
Just switched from A and L and got £100 credited yesterday entitled Internal Transfer - very happy0
