£100 if you switch to Nationwide (6 month+ existing members only)

Hi All,
Is anyone able to tell me if there's a certain time limit on the amount of time you have to have your Nationwide Flexaccount open after receiving the £100? I'm opening the account but don't really want to be tied to it long term.
Also, does anyone know if you have to start depositing over £1,000 a month into the account after opening it or can you just get your £100 after transferring your Standing Orders and then leave the account dormant?
Thanks for your help.

Sorry Rob, I don't think you will qualify, see:
Terms and conditions
The promotion will run from 19 March to 5 May 2007 and is open to anyone who has:
(a) held a Nationwide product for six months or more;
(b) transfers their existing current account to Nationwide’s FlexAccount; and
(c) will credit £1,000 or more per month to their Nationwide FlexAccount and is accepted for, or already holds, a debit card account"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

How long was has it taken between people returning the signed DD/SO transfer forms, and the £100 being credited? Mine went back in the prepaid envelope in Tuesday's post last week, still no sign of the free £100.
Their website says max 5 working days from the time they receive the form, is this consistent with forum users' experiences, or are they snowed under a la Barclays Tax beater ISA?Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -

I sent my application form on 21 March. No sign at all. Called yesterday, they claimed nothing received from me.
Well, sent again yesterday.0 -

Thanks to Missile for your reply.
Please excuse my naivety but can MrChips and Yant1 please explain how they're going to run this account? Will you be paying in £1,000 a month and then moving it straight away??
Also, has anyone opened a Flex Account who has a Nationwide mortgage? As on the form they have sent me to sign they have said that if I have a Nationwide mortgage (which I do) this will be taken by internal transfer from the Flex Account. Has anyone been able to get around this as I don't really want to mess with my mortgage payments!
Thanks for your help.

It is currently my main current account. All my salary and expenses go in, and all my direct debits and standing orders go out.
I was just trying to explain to people that even those who already had a flex account and used it as their main account would qualify for the £100 switching offer. There was initially some confusion about this (see first page of thread) and it was implied that only those with a "dormant" flex account would be eligible. If I had a pound for every time I didn't play the lottery...0 -
Got a phone call today from Nationwide's Account Transfer team to clarify the date/frequency of a SO.
After that was sorted I asked about the £100. They said it would go through in the next few days when they notify the Direct Debit parties. So that's longer than the advertised 5 working days, but still £100 is £100In my mind its equivalent to around half a years interest on £3k in the top-paying mini cash ISA, so definitely worth the trouble.

My DDs and SOs have appeared on my flex account over the past week but still no sign of the £100 incentive payment. Spent an hour on the phone trying to speak to someone today about it but was just paying to listen to recorded music and never got to speak to a human being.
I applied for the switch at the end of March.... goodness knows why its taking so long to get the £100 credited.0
