  • I think you lease for say 3 yrs then at the end of it you give it back and swap for another one OR give back OR pay whatever is left on the car and keep it happy-smiley.gif That's what they told me anyways :o
You're right about the check thing though, that might be the sticking point gaah-smiley.gif
When we moved (a long time ago) we had no ££ so ended up buying the cheapest car we could find £250 :rotfl: it lasted a yr and was brilliant on fuel:D is this a possibility?

Deffo! Need to do some research methinks but not tonight...yaaawn!
    Nite all :)

Hi Meow :hello:Thanks for subscribing! Come on in...:D
Just noticed my signature reads £43,142 so once I update for the jsa paid to mbna we will be exactly £43k!!!! (Well, give or take a few pennies ) Very pleased - mbna balance has not been this low in years.

Work pretty busy but enjoying it and only 1 day until the weekend and catching up with all my girls! Feeling bliss-smiley.gif at the moment! I can't believe how life has changed in a month :)

  • Forgot to say there are also a lot of 'clauses' with leasing a car so be careful....for example, you have to declare how many miles you're going to do in the given lease period-for example 10,000 if you go over this then you are charged a per mile rate thereafter added to the finance at the end. blink-smiley-face.gif They also tell you where you must get new tyres etc so it's not all that straightforward... drive1-smiley-face.gif

Had a real quick look online but seems fairly expensive so not sure it is our best option right now. £350p.m would be much better thrown at the debts. Will check the autotrader bargain section :rotfl:That's more our price range.

And all of you for helping ;) It's great to feel that I am controlling our money for the first time in, well ever really, rather than the other way around.

£350 was a cute little sporty car :p just wishing though, we would be daft to set ourselves back by agreeing to a 2 year lease!! Haven't seen any shorter ones yet.

Just off to walk dearest dog xxxx
