Totally frustrating day today!!! Went out to run all my errands so they are sorted before I go back to work and am just getting nowhere despite my best efforts :mad:

Tried to return the notorious tracksuit only to be told they don't do returns and I had to have a credit note I won't use :mad::mad:

Tried to return the pesky tote bag only to be told I'd missed the 14 day deadline :mad::mad::mad:

Had to pay £6.35 to return a dress I shouldn't have ordered to Whistles :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Went into Halifax to to try and update my address details for my cc statement as I didn't do it when we moved and got a very rude woman giving me the spiel about moving my current account etc there even though they turned me down for a debit card/overdraft when I tried a couple of years ago :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I could go on but I won't bore you all. :rotfl:Have to laugh - just one of those days when nothing goes right :rotfl:

Might go back to bed and get up again.

Well, managed to get through to JC after about eleven million calls and apparently my claim has not yet been processed due to the backlog but has now been marked as urgent priority. Hmmm... :undecided

Have decided to go ahead and make a payment to mbna anyway as I just want them gone asap.

All good here, was meant to go swimming today but woke up late so have cooked a nice roast dinner for DH when he gets home from work...

Yummy! Sleeping in and then a roast sounds much more fun than swimming We were a bit naughty today and got m&s dine in for £10 but it's coming out of the grocery budget (which I've cut to £200) so don't feel too guilty. Will save all my cooking enthusiasm for DH's parents tomorrow.

Gorgeous sunny day here so DH and me took the dog for a long walk by the river where he kindly informed me that I'm "obsessed with the bills these days " - well, someone has to be!! Nice to forget about them for an afternoon though

Also got my hair cut by a friend so have a vaguely smart new do to go back to work. All in all not a bad day and hardly spent anything! Woooooo.

Going to do the shop super late at T's tonight to avoid the rabble

At least Sunday lunch was a success and only spent £43 on groceries for the week despite having people over :jDetermined not to let all my hard work go to waste now I'm back at work so need to make a lunchbox tonight. Just off to raid the fridge...
