    Hi

I had mine professionally done about a year ago. Since then I buy roasting bags or cover food with a lid. This prevents splashing but happily I've found the roasting bags help retain the juices and make the meat really tender.

It depends what you cook, of course. If we are having something prone to spitting I often grill as it's easier to clean. On the odd occasion I cook uncovered, I try to wipe round whilst the oven is still warm.

    HTH

Thanks bossymoo, I will do what you suggest and wipe round after cooking anything messy. I tend to cook in roasting bags too so it shouldn't be too bad in there!

I had a hsterectomy last week and I feel loads better. So no lifting or hoovering for me, and I'm just going to do 15 mins at a time.

there is a winch, a unicycle and a set of karate pads all balanced on the stairs.

Relieved to see that second sentence.
And:rotfl:to the stuff on the stairs. What a combination!

Meanwhile, going to the kitchen to think about making tea... I'll see what I can put away or relocate to another room before starting the veggie enchilada assembly line.

    Joeykins have your tried ovenmate?

You can buy it much cheaper than this in supermarkets/Lidl etc. Works really well.

Back from the paid stuff. Jacket spuds in the AGA going to do another HH in the kitchen whislt they cook.

OK so inbetween paid stuff i have:

    wmx3 hung to dry indoors
    swept and mopped through downstairs
put away dry stuff in relevant cupboards
shoved some chicken and veg in oven with coconut milk and thai paste
whipped up a frittata mix to sit underneath to make full use of oven

Tots at nursery Mon-Wed with all meals except a bit of supper covered, so fritatta and thai curry for me for next few days...

Picking tots up in about 20, might continue sorting spare room cupboard when they are in bed... (after my curry, of course!)

    Another wet walkies decluttered.:o

Lottie's been dried, and her two towels are now on the hall radiator, as is her lead, which is made of rope.

Mr LW's wet weather gear is on the A-frame, dripping into the bath.

Flying bit: ---> Front door has been wiped clean inside and out, after Lottie jumped up at it with muddy paws.

Mobility buggy safely stashed in its shed; any further wees will be done in the garden (this adheres to her normal schedule).

That's her sorted out til 18:00, when I need to give her a plate of dins.:o

Evening all. Back from another day on my feet and now slumped watching the football. Nothing was done while I was out, despite the bumpkin teens being at home all day apart from a couple of hours over lunchtime. I'm not happy. I might clear up or I might pour myself a large glass of red. Who knows? We'll see how the mood takes me
