Mumof5 my engagement ring was in a sorry sorry state a couple of years ago ( well it still is ) but repair costs were well over the cost of the ring so it sits in a draw till I win the lottery! And I am the proud owner of a cubic zirconium Asda ring costing £14 love it:)

Kitchen blind is disgusting... but I need to shorten it before I can wash it, and I'll need to wash it in daylight. It'll be on the list to be done by the time the kitchen redecoration is done! Window and windowsill are done, and 4 out of 5 chairs, plus the stuff on/under them has been relocated (even if not permanently!).

    Monday - kitchen
    Only got 15 minutes
    [STRIKE]Clean your sink[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]empty the bins[/STRIKE] although they seem to need doing again...
    30 minutes to spare
    sweep and mop the floor
[STRIKE]Wipe the worksurfaces[/STRIKE]Not only that, but I have polished them with some orange oil stuff I have which is specially for food prep surfaces :D
    Got an hour
Clean the oven did the hob...
Do the 15 and 30 minute jobs too
    Extras
[STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE] well... I handed it over to someone else to do :o
[STRIKE]15 minutes on a job you've been putting off or in your Room of Doom[/STRIKE] Right now it's difficult to decide which is the RoD... but I did do a lot of filing and shredding and stuffing old loo rolls full of shredded paper earlier!

Chairs all done, more stuff moved around. Ready to do the sideboard and floor tomorrow morning. I wonder whether I can persuade OH to help me deep clean the sitting room tomorrow :D then again, it might put him off moving in... Maybe I'll leave major stuff until he's away on Wednesday night. Housework is one of the many things that will need to be worked out... Off to bed... After putting some clothes away!

macpep... many cleaning products that are perfumed or contain ammonia encourage more peeing in the same spot. If you know the area is clean leave it to dry.. it won't be just the carpet the underlay and maybe the floorboards will also be damp.. leave it a few days to dry out and the smell will fade!

    Morning All

Well up to yet I've got nothing on tonight so I'm hoping to get some stuff done. Having said that AF has kindly arrived so I may just fall asleep instead! Unsure whether to put some washing on the line before I go to work - if I do it'll rain, if I don't it won't.

    Have a good day all
