    Evening all

Good to see so many of you hard at it in the kitchen, especially those of you tackling your ovens - well done :T

Not as much progress made here :o

Have discovered today that my new windows (oldies will remember how much I disliked them when they were installed) leak  They are individual Georgian panes and at least 6 of them the water is coming through the sides of the glass and into the house. Same is happening in DH office. They are all on the same aspect, they are bays, so I'm concerned what will happen when the wind direction changes and the rain comes from the other direction, will even more be like it. I have delegated the task of ringing the chippie to DH ;)

I'll do the list for tomorrow and then get DS3 to bed, other 2 are doing last minute revision as both have tough exams tomorrow.

Got a fair bit done tonight so I'm happy!😄😄😄 Doing the oven tonight is pushing it - still not supposed to be overdoing it while my neck gets better. Will save that for the weekend.

Now for a sit down and read my book.

Lottie's been dried, and her two towels are now on the hall radiator, as is her lead, which is made of rope.

I'm sure spaniels are water babies at heart mine loves the towel down at the end almost as much as the first sight of the lead.

Sorry to hear about the windows Dusty. Unless of course it means they get fixed so you like them :)

Spent too much time on paid work today, and haven't done enough of my own stuff, so I need to get my act together and do a couple of HHCs before bed.

First one will be in the kitchen - surfaces are all done (I even polished them!), hob has been cleaned after supper, sink has been kept clean too, the big windowsill has been emptied and cleaned, the window cleaned and stuff put back, the table has been cleaned and polished, and now I need to clear it of the stuff that has crept back onto it, clear the windowsill and clean that, the window and the blind, plus clean and polish the remaining chairs (5, but only 3 need polishing). Then tomorrow I can clear, move and polish the sideboard, and do the floor.

Before bed I need to put more of my clothes away. I have no idea where OH's stuff is going to go. I think I may have to shift the spare bedding back into the spare room... but it will take more than that! It's probably a good thing that he hasn't got very far with his packing yet...

OK... off to beat the kitchen into submission! Back later...
  • Firstly I would like to say a big
