Hi everyone, keep dipping in now and again but been so busy with work I've not had chance to fly in the day and been exhausted at night! I've addressed the tiredness and am now taking iron everyday which is working and now the slipped disc in my neck (ouch!) is improving I really need to get this house sorted. DH was great with sorting out the girls and putting a wash on while I was immobile but the only real flying that got done was very limited and by me!

So...back to it. The kitchen needs a bit of attention but it's not horrendous so i'll do a HHC starting at 7.30. Anyone else in?

Thanks Bossymoo, I looked into having the oven cleaned professionally cleaned but unfortunately my current budget wont stretch to it.
So i hunted through the cupboards and found a full tin of ovenpride, a metal scourer and a wallpaper scraper. Armed with these i set to my task of getting my oven clean. 20 minutes of scraping later it was beginning to show signs of improvement so i covered the oven with oven pride and let it get to work for 15 minutes then another 10 minutes scrubbing with the metal scourer, another coat of oven pride and more scrubbing. It is now soaking in another layer of ovenpride and hopefully this will get the remainder of the dirt off. I think i will soak the shelves in the bath overnight in some washing powder and scrub them in the morning.
Thanks for all the advice ladies, its very much appreciated :D

    Hello!

Well in my hhc I have

Put three boxes of dh things in loft that we are keeping.
Ditto a bag of his, and a vanity case of mine.
Took 4 empty cardboard boxes down to garage for when green bin emptied.
Took shredder down to garage, where hopefully I'll remember to use it.
    Filled a bag of tat.
Emptied basket of doom, returned toys, books and travel plug to respective homes.
Emptied airing cupboard of towels and linen which is now in a pile on my bed. Hmmm. How many do I really need?

Spa room now respectable, still books and discs to sort but that probably requires more than a hhc...

    Corrie, shower, bed methinks.

How did you both do Bossymoo & Midgetgem?

    I managed to:
    Empty & reload dw
    Wipe table
    Wipe windowledges
    Clear & wipe worktops
    Wash a few pots
    Clean hob

Not too bad and it's all looking a lot better. Think I'll do another HHC at 8.15 to do the sink and the floors then that'll be me done for the night. Feel free to jump in with me anyone - I'd love the company!

    30 minutes to spare
sweep and mop the floor - didn't manage this one :(
    [STRIKE]Wipe the worksurfaces[/STRIKE]

    Extras

[STRIKE]15 minutes on a job you've been putting off or in your Room of Doom [/STRIKE] did a cupboard shelf, very slowly!

also managed to organise and cook dinner even though DS and DH each brought an unexpected friend home. My big phobia is of having to feed other people, so an achievement for me :T

I have made a home for the towels. The bedding is in a pile. It needs a good sort so I can see what I have. Just need enough for when we have family over at Xmas. Will do that tomorrow.
Now going to shop online for some bedside drawers.
