My main aim this week is to maintain my sanity whilst DD2 sits her A Levels.
She currently has post-viral fatigue, and so revision has been somewhat curtailed .... we keep finding her asleep at the desk.....
so if anyone has any spare flylady vibes for this afternoon - she will be spending 2.5 hours doing an English Language exam .... and she is terrified!
Any spare posi-vibes much appreciated....
On a lighter note DD1 and her dad did part of the York Grand Tour yesterday - there are 60 pictures all over York celebrating it's scientific heritage....:-
http://yorkgrandtour.co.uk/
If anyone is coming to York between now and September - this is great fun, really interesting and COMPLETELY FREE!!!
DD1 nad OH manged to do 47 out of the 60 pictures ..... not bad for the girl with ME/CFS - but she will be tired today!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
I am in, thanks for the lists. Mum and dad are coming to stay this weekend so I am going to try and do a bit in our spare/junk room so they don't think we have just left everything since we moved in 10 months ago :rotfl: luckily the cleaner will do most of the list for me.
[FONT="]Monday - kitchen[/FONT]
Only got 15 minutes
Clean your sink
[STRIKE]empty the bins[/STRIKE]
30 minutes to spare
sweep and mop the floor
Wipe the worksurfaces
Got an hour
[STRIKE]Clean the oven[/STRIKE] I have wiped this twice so far today, once cold, once hot and I am now waiting for it to cool a bit so I can give it a bit of a scrub. It is one of the jobs I am going to ask the cleaner to do while we are on holiday...a deep clean of the oven
[STRIKE]Do the 15 and 30 minute jobs too[/STRIKE] I have done the ones I need to do so am going to tackle the spare room, the first job is to sort things into piles to be stored together.

Hi All
Posting from work, am in again this week, (after the paid stuff) thanks for the lists Dustykitten. I had the week from hell last week but don’t want to go into it.
My 18.5 year old cat has now taken to peeing on the upstairs carpet,:mad:she is sitting in her tray but peeing on the carpet, totally missing her tray, she is an outdoor cat but getting on a bit & if she was in when we were out & she needed to ‘go’ she ‘went’ outside our bedroom door :eek:that’s why we put the tray there. The carpet has been shampooed now 3 times & I can still smell it, any suggestions ladies???
I am taking delivery today of my H20 X5 Steam Mop, :T:Tyou know what its like when you get a new toy, everything will be getting steamed to within an inch of its life!!!! Especially looking forward to using the hand steamer for the oven (how sad am I)
As well as the lists, I need to pack, we are off on Friday afternoon for a short weekend away but kids don’t know so packing has to be done in secret so there will be plenty HHI’s as well.
Piggers – Congratulations on your “Grandbeast” :rotfl: you do have a way with words, I hope all goes ok.
Littlemisshappy – Good luck for todays exam
jjeff – Hope all goes well with DD’s nose
JoJo – What a nightmare for your, is there anyone that can help you at all???
KazM – I leave at 7.15 every morning so know how you feel, it all adds on to your day
CY – Hope your DD manages to get through her exam ok & isn’t too wiped out aftewards
Have a nice day everyone, hugs spoons etc where needed x

Hi everyone,
I always start out with good intentions then I get sidetracked. This week I will join in and I will stick to it.
Kids have gone back to school today and I only work afternoons so I have no excuse really for a messy house. So please feel free to give me a kick up the bum.

Morning all,
I'm soooo tired. I couldn't sleep last night so gave up at 1.30 and went to watch tv. I watched 1.5 episodes of Big Brother and finally fell asleep during the 2nd episode of Gavin and Stacey. Ds2 woke me up at 6.30 so i am very sleepy now, hopefully i'll sleep tonight now.
Ds1 is in school but Ds2 is still off. I need to do a bit of work and some flying today.
So far i have
Wm x 1
Took dry clothes off electric airer & put away
Put another load on
Collected laundry
Made my bed
Went out the front in my pj's to retrieve my recycling bag
Sorted rabbits

Hi All
Working from home today. Kitchen pretty tiday so will get my zoflora spray out later and wipe round, and clean the sink.
Really need to put another wash on. Nowhere to dry it...
Macpep1 - bicarb. sprinkle on when dry, give it a little rub in to get to all the lower fibres, leave a while (overnight if bad?) and hoover up. Should help neutralise the whiff x
Hugs to all and good luck to all flylets doing exams xxxBossymoo

Against my better judgement I am in. The week before last I managed Monday before I was hit by a vomiting bug. Last week I was staying in an uber clean cottage in Whitby which has completely shamed me into trying again. This week's main obstacle is not really an obstacle but OH is at home for the week so I will be working around him, which will seem a bit odd.
I also have made vast inroads in my ironing mountain, it still resembles a mountain, but more Snowdonia than the Himalayas, and I have washed and ironed all the clothes we took away. I am just continuing to chip at the backlog.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0
