I think one has to shop around in Independent Stores just as one does Supermarkets.
I am sure we can get horror stories from Independents as well as Heroism.

Still have not managed to get down to Totally Locally at Dean Clough. I have had a really busy few weeks and as we don't have a car I have to walk over from the bus station.

I'm finding Abel & Cole has some really good prices for non veg things especially chicken but the veg prices are horrible. Problem here is that the farmers' market closed down when their site was redeveloped
