  • I am looking at getting Coffee from some independent Coffee Suppliers.
*suffering rotting vegetables courtesy of the dreaded Mr T* grrrh! wouldn've been better off at Natoora, Farmison, and upped orders from Riverford whose fruit and veg perform amazingly well.

Just received an e-mail about the Totally Locally grocery opening at Dean Clough, Halifax. It will be open from next week in F Mill and seems to be staying open late until about 8.pm. Worth a look I think

See you all there . I can walk it in 10 minutes !

Do not get your hopes too high !
  • I plan to make shopping expeditions-online at Farmison and Natoora anytime soon once I got budget sorted out. I also have other independent deli's on Speed Dial (Desktop on Chrome) to consider as well including Bien Manger a french Deli for that good old French food love.
I am also opening mind to decent Ethic shops etc.
Loch Fyne etc for fish deliveries. Slamming up the Quality, at the lowest price possible!
Thanks for all the support on the thread so far and for the Forum Guide who stickied thread to my complete and utter surprise.

Received first Abel & Cole order today. Didn't order veg box as like to choose own veg but did buy wild samphire (100g) 2.25 and 2 globe artichokes for 2.99 as well as some meat and poultry. Tried the buffalo mince in a curry tonight, tasted as good as beef.

WBQMS thanks for the heads up on Bien Manger. You may find that French Click has at least some of those food products and they deliver from London. https://www.frenchclick.co.uk
You can also find some Fauchon products at Selfridges. https://www.selfridges.com

I am planning to go Monday afternoon to Dean Clough

We will just have to see what it is like.
  • This feels like a curating shop, in the typical style of MSE.
Buying food from Independent Retailers online, offline but NOT at the Supermarkets.
