Total- £1362.23
Goal pay off 1% of current mortgage in 1 year. £1650

it's been a long hard slog but the finish line is in sight and we can start actually living again! I can't believe how far we've come in 17 months i would be lying if i said the determination hadn't waned over this time and we've been on 2 holidays in this time but we have also made some serious cutbacks and don't feel sorry for doing them.
I would recommend anyone in debt to do it the way we have. The hard way. Paying back every penny, making sacrifices and going without certain things as the pain makes you determined never to get in debt again!

Just wanted to say you and DH have done so well, truly an inspiration to others (especially me!!). Hope all your planning pays off and you become DF sooner than you thought.

Thanks Sista for your kind words and encouragement. It will be really interesting to see how much debt I have paid off, compared to you, in 17 months time. Not that its a competition though...;)
