Update.
DH now has another job :j £ not too bad with an increase after 3 months
I had to buy a new carpaid for by some lovely family members so not got into any more debt.
Haven't been able to make any substantial payments towards the debt due to DH job situation but will start again when he gets paid.
Hope everyone else is ok :TDEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -

Hi everyone
Things just ticking along at the moment DH is still working in a temp job but is looking for something more permanent, have only managed to pay off around £200 (min payments) since i last posted as we don't want to use our fall back savings in case anything happens job wise
The plan is to use this savings pot as soon as DH is in permanent employment (hopefully soon, fingers crossed) we have 3k in there at the moment.
That's all for now... back to lurking i go....DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -
Great that you have those savings just in case, and what a difference they will make when he is back in permanent employment, fingers crossed that is really soon.

Hi everyone
A week off work now so i'm:D
DH 0% ends Oct Nov time and stands at £5400 ish. We have £3500 saved and are trying to build it up to 5k by the time the 0% ends. Fingers crossed.
Just paying the minimum at the moment but we are saving any extra ££ in a separate account to pay off the debts as and when so all going well.
DH has an interview soon for a permanent job and i have an interview next week
Glad to be off work especially during this time of the season!!
Hope everyone is doing well. xxDEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -
