Another £1000 paid off today and still have the minimum payments to come out next month too. :j:j
Brings the total to £5229 and 73% paid off
Such a shame we couldn't stretch to an extra £230 to bring us under the 5k markAh well, by Christmas we should be able to get it down at least another £500 maybe more. The aim is to be as close to the 4k mark as possible by Christmas. Fingers crossed!
Hope everyone else is still on track...:cool:DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -

I've got loads of plans
1. Get my hair cut (Only had it trimmed once since LBM)
2. Buy some new clothes (same as above)
3. We're all going out for dinner to celebrate:D:cool:
I think that's about it really. We can then start saving for our holiday.
What about you, what are your plans?
BTW i've cleared a Squidge shaped space in the shed for you and have bought a new padlock....DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -
Sounds a great plan! I have visions of you strutting down the street in heels pretty woman style, flicking hair and carrying lots of posh shopping bags :rotfl:
We desperately want to buy a house so our next step will be to (try to) start saving a deposit. Surely must be a doddle after paying all this debt for so many years??
I've packed my sleeping bag for the shed...[STRIKE]£49,129[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£[/STRIKE][STRIKE]43,012 [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£42,209[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£40,823[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£39,866[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£25,960[/STRIKE]£21,338 _party_

I've packed my sleeping bag for the shed...
And getting turfed out for not being posh enough :rotfl:
Great plan SCP about the house, i'm sure you'll be able to do it no probs.
You will have to share the shed with Fred the mahoosive spider i'm afraid. Also no internet access means no MSE for the forseeable, on the plus side at least locking you in the shed means you can't spend any moneyDEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -
Well only managed to pay £200 off this month as don't want to leave us too short for christmas.
Debt now at £4995 so creeping closer. We've decided that any christmas money we get will go off the debt so fingers crossed for our DFD being June (would love it to be April though) We'll see.
Most presents already bought but still need to get the kids some little ones and stocking fillers.
:mad:My hair straighteners have blown up  so i will need to pay out for a new pair this week as my hair looks like this
>
