4 ripe (boardering on the over-ripe-just-about-ready-to-go-in-the-organic-waste) bananas

    No dessert for tea yet.

    Any suggestions please?

    my suggestions

banana bread. Don't have a recipe with me at the moment but Be-Ro online will have one I'm sure. over ripe Bananas best for this.

    or

    banoffee pie.
make a pastry case, fill with a tin of condensed milk that has simmered in water for a couple of hours and top with banana (and cream if feeling naughty)

get some bread, spread with jam and slice the bananas on top. delish.
  • If the bananas are really soft you could make banana custard, if they are so soft they look like they will turn the custard brown then add some cocoa as well

You can freeze them if you haven't time for anything else.

    You're posh having dessert!

How about a slice of swiss roll or cake in bottom of single dish then sliced banana then custard. Or if you have any of that raspberry sauce or icecream that on top too!

another... wrap banana in foil and add liquer (a few drops) of any kind then on barbie.

I can't stand ripe bananas so I either give them to my dad, or if I've lots, I freeze them (I have lots frozen at the moment) I then make a banana and walnut loaf, courtesy of Delia:
