I am however concerned about the possible conflicts of interest that might arise because I don't understand how Money Supermarket will be happy to have links and references to other comparision sites...
I imagine they'll be happy to no longer be paying out referral fees to MSE whilst at the same time collecting the referral fees from the links to everyone else.0 -

Similar thoughts here too. It's hard making money at most times but in the middle of a recession, making money of those who are broke is just shocking. Clever but shocking.0 -

I had no idea this site had earned that amount of money, sorry for not knowing everything or reading every single piece of news about this...
Uhhmmm, I did read everything before posting that. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

I didn't write this, but it sums up how I've felt about Martin S Lewis (presumably the 'S' stands for 'Slimey') for years.

Seriously? A public forum that Is heavily crawled by google, populated by strangers, and you trust that more than your own husband, family and freinds?!
Unbelievable Jeff!
Call it what you like, I'm far from alone in doing this.
Various support forums for those of us with difficult personal lives directly link to MSE as an impartial place to get advice on how to solve our financial problems. I've no doubt other people will be treading very carefully here from now on."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -
I wonder how long the whinging will go on for and how many pages this thread will notch up.0

"We'll be getting spam emails from MoneySupermarket!!!" ... yes, isn't life tragic.
Presumably the moaners will set up their own website - how about www . expertmoneysaving . com ? Good luck.
I'm actually looking into starting a new one.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
