I've been told that accepting a without prejudice offer is legally binding and I am not accepting any liability for the car at all, so if something did happen, they would now no longer have any legal route.
Isn't that just on the air con issue though?
Just wait until the magic tree falls off the interior mirror. Could get messy.0 -

Earlier you said you wanted something in writing that you could use in court should there be more from the buyer after you paid them off this time.
So why do you want a "without prejudice" offer being accepted??
You sure you are getting proper legal advice? (From a solicitor)0 -
It's not a full and final settlement, it's a goodwill offer.
No it's a without prejudice "that's all you are getting" offer

Make it payable to the Honda Dealership they're using
That'll wind them up if they really are pulling a fast one and plan to fit a scrapyard AC clutch themselves.0 -
They will be back on a regular basis, you have just given them a free maintenance contract.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
