Quentin, What is unpleasent is being harassed in PM's and having to get the MSE Team involved to stop Trebor from spamming me.

He stopped for a bit but eventually came back and has attacked me in several threads all wrongly. He's rightly on the ignore list and as far as I'm concerned, given the trolling, it was perfectly justified.

Given he is still doing it (as the quote from JimmytheWig shows up if not Trebor's post) the sig is definately justified as he is doing nothing but trolling. His post adds no value to the OP's thread, it is simply a personal attack.

Here is a person who claims that buying gloves, grips and bar muffs for a bike is cheaper than buying just gloves. Argues that adding 20 litres of petrol to a car brings no weight penalty (over 4st in reality) and claims that speedometers can't over read when they can.

The trouble with Trebor as you can see from his comment above is that arguing with him is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can be the best player in the world but the pigeon will still knock all the pieces over, defacate all over the board and then strut about triumphantly anyway.

Please show where i called pendulum any names too, because I didn't.

I might call a spade a spade and don't mince words, but I didn't call him anything. I did say it might be karma that he had been bitten but I prefer people to deal honestly, guess it's just me.

Anyway, thread being dragged off topic, once again, assuming the car was properly advertised and the aircon was working, the OP should be fine.

Ok, seeing as I appear to be impartial here I suggest...
1. Fivetide has already put Trebor16 on his ignore list.
2. Trebor16 should put Fivetide on his ignore list.
3. Fivetide should remove references to Trebor16 and this whole problem from his sig.
Then neither of you will be causing problems for each other.

Other than Trebor16 confirming that he has put Fivetide on ignore I don't think any more of this nonsense is required on this thread.

There you go again, telling lies. You were not harassed by PM and if the MSE team had thought so they would have taken action against me. But they didn't. That speaks volumes about your dubious claims.

You sig is not justified and this has been pointed out by a number of people. And your claim that I am still attacking you is nonsense. I am not the one with an offensive signature line in my posts personally attacking another MSE member.

When I tried that approach I was accused of harassment and reported to admin. Luckily admin didn't agree that my use of PM's amounted to harassment.
