Well, I have had my iPhone since yesterday and I came across this thread. Oddly enough I have been having trouble when connecting via my iPhone onto my iPad. .it says no connection but when I try using tr iPhone connectivity is fine.
I believe that I am being throttle and the only reason I got the phone was so I could tether to my iPhone and not use broadband.
not sure what I should do now!January Grocery 11/3740 -

If not perhaps that is why it won't let you connect.0 -
No. I bought the One plan and that allows you tether.January Grocery 11/3740

Did anyone managed to cancel the contract without any penalty?0

I just got off the phone with Three's technical support team, apparently TrafficSense was just a trial and it's been stopped now networkwide. I'm not sure if he just told me this to shut me up or if it's actually the case and we're all back to being free and unthrottled.
I could have cancelled my contract without penalty, but it seems now I have no cause to.
If anyone else is being throttled please keep us updated, I'm going to deliberately be using a lot of internet in a short space of time to make sure I'm not going to be throttled ever again.0 -

Tethering is only permitted on the One Plan - if you have that it's to your advantage!0 -
Well 3 still have details about TrafficSense on the web page. I seem to have an issue if I am looking details up n the 3 website and this one. Not sure if it is related to TrafficSense or not. Would 3 be able to confirm if this is the case?January Grocery 11/3740

What did you say to get them to offer a contract cancellation? I want to get the heck away from Three with all the stuff they have pulled lately. :mad:0 -
No confirmation yet,i am checking on Xda forums for confirmation that is anyone still being throttled or no.Probably you might have only being removed from TrafficSense for time being.Let see ...0

I doubt they have stopped it, may have reset all the caps for the time being, or your 7 days of cap is up. I sent an email about this and awaiting a callback from the complains department, gonna be a long wait I reckon. If anyone has any experience in three offering them cancellation, can you give me any tips on who to speak to and what to say to edge this along? I have had many problems with them since the start and I am sick of them.0
