I have no complaints, I use there on line service 99%. Use the money back current account. Although just moved my saving accounts
Although I do have to say the telephone support and branch are far to sales sales sales.
If I want something I'll ask!0 -
I've never had any problems with the Halifax - perhaps I've just been lucky, but the staff have always been courteous and I've never had any hassle!0

They were pretty good until they floated I think, they started shutting down cash machines and went from customer oriented to HBOS oriented0

And RBS are worse - I ended up swearing at one today0

Ok, i have read this thread with interest, and have mentioned it to someone I know who works for HBOS(in their so called telephone sales team).
Their branch telephony care team are the only team in the whole of the HBOS Group without a sales target, so to suggest the opposite is completely misleading. You can call your local branch, something you can do with RBS/NatWest. Both companies have UK based call centres. Branches are targetted for answering the phone. At the moment it is 40% of branch calls for HBOS and 75% for RBS/NatWest.0
