    Hi Hypno

The yoga sounds like a really good idea. I think it's important to do what you enjoy, means you don't dread doing it!

Sounds like you've had a lovely "me" weekend, those are the best ones and you did the housework too - well done :T

How was your bath with the door open - If I dare to get into the bath DD comes in to talk about her day, DS tries to get in and DH asks me how long I'll be - so I know what a luxury they are!

Off to potter in the garden now - have a lovely day

Hi BAUK :hello: Opted for the shower with the door open instead - but just the fact that I could have used the main bathroom and left the door open if I wanted to, made it good enough for me!!

The strawberries for breakfast were fab, hope there are some more ripe ones soon. At the mo I have a "thing" made with sweet potatoes and spinich cooking on the hob. Yum!

Hope you continue to have a lovely day :) I really need to start my running again - just scared of hurting my back again I think!

Just walked to the supermarket - don't know how I thought I could have gone running today as I was on the phone to OH and was well and truly having difficulty speaking due to being out of breath!! Obviously I am far more unfit than I thought, also got on the scales this morning for the first time in a long time and have put on almost a stone since Christmas so all in all a bit of a wake up call for me!

Still feeling positive though, and have tidied my utility room - I will soon be able to have people round :D

Hi Hypno..so nice to hear you feeling so much more positive...that's great!!!Nice to know you have had a relaxing weekend and still made a start on the housework and that this has made you feel more positive in itself...
Feeling pretty positive myself as I have got some bits and pieces done as well...
This clutter doesn't half keep your mind cluttered...well done on the yoga as well...it's always nice to do something we enjoy..especially if it's free!!!

El, if I ever get to the point that my housework is all done it will be nothing short of a bloody miracle. I think the chances of me needing to buy a train ticket to scotland to do yours is fairly slim!!

Taxi, that new signature is looking mighty impressive. I am a tad envious because I won't have made any overpayments this month so no chance of wowing anyone with my progress. Oh well, there's always next month!!

Kids are both home now from skiing, they have had a good weekend. DS has finally qualified for the British Champs so he is happy, and DD came 4th today so she is very happy as this is her best result (she has already qualified for the Brits so no pressure on her). My turn to take them racing next week but it is Sunday only, Karate grading is on the Saturday. The things we do.....

They have never had a playstation or an xbox or anything like that - they choose to do the sport instead, so I can't complain! And yes, I am proud of them, as long as they do their best that is fine with me - they will never reach the olympics because we just don't have the cash to throw at it, but they enjoy what they do and it keeps them fit and healthy so all good really (apart from having to get up at 4 in the morning to take them!!).

    Hi Hypno,

Your diary is very inspiring (Taxi's too). Am just trying to get a grip of our finances so need all inspiration I can get. The bit about your kids and the olympics really struck a cord but I like to think that a loving home and encouragement can help kids to achieve beyond your dreams. Happy, healthy children is my aim but I find it hard sometimes when I'm weighed down with my own cares to give them the time/attention they need.

Glad you had a good weekend, hope next week is the same.
