I am suffering from CHAOS too - I need to join Chaos Anonymous (ooooh, that's quite tricky to say!).

I've just done my first load of washing up, and wiped down the front of my kitchen cupboards. And I've even given the floor a quick wipe, but it needs doing properly with bleach and a mop I think. I WILL do it before weekend!!!

Hmmm, upstairs is fine. Downstairs, kitchen not bad. Its the living room that cracks me up. I've got piles of amazon/ebay stuff and general crap that I need to tidy up. I'll join in next week. I'm away for the weekend, so cant make any mess. Might invite my cousin to stay while I'm away. She always leaves the house tidier than she found it!!

Well I'm pleased to announce that I can't join the housework challenge because everything got sorted -with "just" a round trip of four hours and more fares than I was happy paying. I'm exhausted and just starting packing both for me and for DS who is off to his Dad's til Tuesday, Have unearthed the missing DS (as in Nintendo not Dear Son ) under a pile of clean clothes ???
Not much point in going to bed as I need to check in mega early as I currently have a middle seat and there is no way on this earth I'm sitting in one of those for 10 hours especially as I have elite status with American Airlines (not that I deserve it-I just found a MSE way to get it ) so lots of coffee betwen packing and a bit of housework. At least I'll pass out on the plane with exhaustion.
Las Vegas here I come -see you all on Tuesday !

I tried to post again last night, but the forums were down again. I hope they get this all sorted soon - it is most frustrating!

Today I need to go to the prison for the majority of the day to do some shadowing. It will be very interesting but I won't get paid for it. So, will have to do some home working when I get back this evening to try and top up the cash pot!

Good morning, Hypno. You were on here bright and early this morning. Got sidetracked or I'd have posted as soon as you had. I'm an early riser(tho' not always before 7) but it was so cold this morning I was glad to get up and make a cup of tea. DH won't have the heating coming on when he's in bed as the noise of it bursting into life wakes him up and it's freezing upstairs in this house:eek:

Have a great day, it sounds like fun. You'll have all the opportunities to ask everything you need to know from someone who's already doing the job before you take over for real. Then you can start with everything already sussed:j .

Hi Imp!

I am def looking forward to my day, but I have loads of extra things to do too, so need to be organised!

I need to start my housework challenge - will do my en-suite before I go out this morning, and will load the dishwasher and get it on.

I have no food in the house for dinner - no pasta or anything! However, I do go past a Lidl on my way to and from the new job, so that is very DFW.

I have some stuff that I must list on ebay today. Will do that this evening when I get home.

Thanks Taxi, i figure that I need to get organised when I go back to work, so might as well make a start now! Just a little bit of organisation though.....don't want to scare myself :eek:
