Wow, half of everything DFW seems to have disappeared!

    Except our debt totals....

Why is it that banks never seem to have server failures like this and remove loads of our debt?!

Hi guys, and welcome to my partial diary!!!

Just got back from college, very pleased to see MSE back up and running (again!) but very sore-headed from all the "stuff" I need to take in at a late hour on a Tuesday!!

Still, with MSE down this morning I spent the time wisely cracking on with my next assignment - it is due in next Tuesday and before today I had done precisely nothing on it! I have now, however, done the majority of the planning, and even done a first draft! So all in all a succesful day.

    Love your signature, Snaggles :D

    Hi hypno, hi all

Sounds like a productive day, hypno, in spite of the diary disappearing into the ether. And we can appreciate things like sigs more when we can't see them so easily! Okay, thats trying *too* hard to find the silver lining. But Snaggles' sig *is* lovely.

I *love* pandapaws suggestion that when the banks' websites go down, we should lose our debt. Seems only fair. Perhaps you could write a letter, hypno, when you've nothing else to do?

This post sounds mad. I've had too much wheat. And now I remember why I never keep cakes in the house. I just eat them. All of them. Its worth buying individual cakes at three times the price because then I only eat one cake.

Right. Got to have something to wash all that cake down. Sleep well, everyone.

Morning! Went straight to bed last night with cracking headache. Unfortunately woke at about 3.30 with toothache!!! Eventually found some asprin and got back to sleep at 4.30 but very tired this morning as a result! (nothing new there then!)

Today I have clients this morning, then having a bit of an ebay blitz this afternoon. Hopefully MSE will stay on - it is so strange when it is not working, and sad to think that newbies can't post when they most need.

    Mornin'
I think Martin has the bit between the teeth on this one now and the worst of the problems are over. I wouldn't like to be the hosting company at the moment tho !!
Sorry it was a bad night Hypno. I have a bit of problem solving day today-if all goes well I can fly out on holiday tomorrow morning-if it doesn't hmmm I'm not so sure I should-but time will tell. I hate that stressed out sick feeling.

Oh duchy, I do hope you get to go on holiday - I really hope today does not turn out to be too stressful, whatever it is that you need to be doing!

Morning hypno, duchy and all - hypno, it does sound like your body's showing all the stress of what's going on for you, no matter how positive your attitude is - being woken by toothache is *not* pleasant, sorry your night has been so horrible. This is my "heavy" work day today - 4.5 hours!, all right for some - so I won't be on here really. Hope the work and the ebaying both go well, will catch up later.
    xx

  • Good morning, Hypno and everyone else reading.

So sorry to hear your sleep was disturbed yet again(when you were so tired already) and I hope your toothache and headaches were of the temporary kind. I hope the tooth won't involve a painful and expensive visit to the dentist. . DH went to his dentist last week for his annual check-up,scale and polish. I doubt there's many men in Britain who look after their teeth more than he does:rotfl: , all that flossing he does and the different toothbrushes and pastes filling up the bathroom cabinet! Yet he came home with appointments for 4 more treatments for things he never knew were wrong! The whole saga will end up costing about £600, and that's just for very 'minor' work:mad: . No wonder I only go when absolutely necessary, which, fingers crossed, has been never in donkey's years:o

Glad your essay is going well:j , the only positive to come out of MSE being down.

I agree with your last remark about newbies. MSE is so much more than a money-saving site isn't it? The relief of discovering MSE and realising you're not alone in a debt morasse and, most importantly, feeling the warmth and support of all the MSErs from the first time you log on is something never to be forgotten. The help, encouragement and advice they give on all of life's problems is like Social Services, CAB, the Samaritans and the best Counsellor/Therapist in the world all rolled into one. Long may it continue:beer:

Just checked my diary and my next dental appointment is not for another 3 weeks. I am hoping that this pain will settle down over the next day or so, and although I hate taking painkillers, I will be having them close by me today as I can't work with things as they are!

I popped over to my Mum's house yesterday - she is away and I was checking everything is ok. She has a cleaner come even though she is away!! Although this is partly for security, it seemed a ridiculous amount of money to be paying when no mess is being made!!! However, the house is sparkling, and I came away just a tad jealous!!

It will be some time before I can afford a cleaner yet, I have to settle in the new job and get the books to balance first, and get the kids out there skiing, but hopefully in a few months, I can have someone to make my house sparkle too!!

Right, better drink up this coffee and get into the shower, otherwise I will be running late and that just will not do!
