*So* sorry to hear this, hypno - you get more than your fair share of mishaps like this, it seems. Attacking another person on an insurance claim is way beyond the pale, absolutely terrible. And I hope the hunt for the replacement laptop goes well.

Sending :grouphug: and lots of them your way.

Oh HYpno, I can not believe this. I am soo glad you have all the evidence. They really make up stuff - our car was smashed into and the other parties claimed we were in the car and then asked if we wanted to make a claim - we weren't even in it!! Really hope you get things sorted today and massive hugs.

Your kids sound like they are doing great and being really helpful with your limitations.

    Thinking of you honey.

Hypno just caught up with your thread, so sorry to hear what they have done :grouphug: They are being so silly as they must know how much evidence there is against them, hope it gets sorted quickly without anymore stress for you.

Hope you sort the PC out and the physio goes well too.

:grouphug: Oh Hypno... Big hugs from me!
Hope the trip to PCworld and the Physio have gone well.
Sounds like the people in the other car are just chancers who do not have a leg to stand on! Enjoy the thoughts of them getting their come-uppance (is that a real word? ) and make sure you go on with your claim as you are in pain, which is impacting on your life (and work), and it is THEIR fault.

Well, my day sadly did not improve, and I am the most stressed person in the world right now!

PC world couldn't help with my laptop, so I ended up going to different shops to try and get the right "bit" and couldn't, so ended up spending over £600 on a new laptop

Problem is that I can get mine sent away under the guarantee but I need the laptop tonight for a client, so had the choice of cancelling the client which I can't afford to do, or buy the new laptop which I can't afford to do either!!

So, my egg balance in my signature will be updated in due course, but not in the right direction!!

I have also had a call from the hire car company saying that the insurance have terminated my courtesy car agreement!! No notice, nothing! It seems that they are really out to get me!! Thankfully I have got them to agree to extend the hire car for the moment, but I am expecting a bill for it! I have been on to my solicitor though who will look at all of this for me and hopefully get it sorted - I just don't want the hassle!!

Finally though, I did have my physio, and it is very obvious there is a considerable amount of damage, so I have had the first treatment, and have another booked in for Monday. The Physio also said I have good grounds to claim, so I will be doing that next, and seeing if I can catch the last post today.

Oh well, what would life be if it weren't for these challenges!!

Hi Hypno - so sorry to hear about your day. Remember, although you need the laptop tonight, send off your other one and then return the new laptop asap?

    Oh, poor you! :grouphug:

You know, that really makes my blood boil. Fair enough when you are actually hurt and in pain and have lost time at work as you have, but them trying to turn it round to make it your fault so they can claim really annoys me. Don't feel guilty at all and get your claim in now!

A few years ago OH ran into the back of a girl who used to drink in the pub where I worked. it was his own fault (idiot! In fact I had just warned him that the roads were slippy and he said something along the lines of You just worry about reading your magazine and I'll worry about the roads - two minutes later...BANG!) and he admitted that. There was no actual damage to either car but we got a letter later saying she was claiming through Bleed 'Em Dry Compensation Solicitors or something like that as she had whiplash and couldn't work (No but she could dance like a wild thing in the pub I worked a few days later!!). We later found out she got £6000 from our insurers and I begrudged her every penny.

Hypno, I wish I had the hugs smilie as you so deserve a hug.

You are an angel to keep up your fortitude in this very challenging situation.

You've had far more than your fair share of these hassles this year and I can only trust that the universe will balance it out by showering you with good fortune some time soon!

Hi Hypno. I'm backon line!! whopee!! So sorry to hear of all your troubles that is so unfair! are you ok? I know that sometimes the ins companies will cancel courtesy cars if the car is beyond economical repair. Is this the case here? look forward to a good ol cheering gossip on Friday. Before you know it people will be allowed to sue themselves for crashing into a lampost and the insurance companies will pay. it is a rotten system and need some form of regulation asap. Try to keep your chin up for now. OH and i going on an orange wednesday to harry potter. tell DD if some mad woman keeps throwing popcorn, rustling papers and talking it..... won't be me!! BIG BIG HUGS 2 u xx
