LookingAhead - is that a CREDIT balance I see on your overdraft!!

    Pretty good news!

Well, survived my clients today, the new adaptor for the old laptop arrived today but they sent the wrong one, and my engagement ring has worn through the band and broken, so a mixed day!

Hope everyone else has had a good one x

Oh I'm sorry to hear about your engagement ring. Can it be mended?

I'm almost afraid to click on your thread recently in case you've had any more blows.

Did your Dad have a wedding band?
I always think it is lovely when friends have had their parents rings incorporated in their rings, there's a sort of continuity there. That could thicken your band?

But not very DFW to go to a jeweller, I'm sure that is part of my debt :o

I have got my Dad's wedding ring - that would be a really good idea to use that gold to fix mine. I will investigate with a jeweller next week when I go into the city! Thanks for the idea!!!

Seaxwyn, please keep visiting my thread - one day I will say that I have £5000 bank charges from Barclays, I have won a holiday in Antigua and my mortgage has mysteriously been paid off!

LOL Snaggles - do you want her for the cake or for the taking DS away!!

Sea, the bath helps my shoulders and my back, but sadly I can't get the angle right for my neck to get much relief there, so not ideal, but a help all the same. Plus it is a good excuse to have 20 mins to myself on a frequent basis :D

Oooh, I fancy a piece of cake. Think i'd better keep my DD tomorrow night though as it's her first night home after 4 nights away. Don't want to look to keen on getting rid of her. How are you feeling after doing so much work today. I know I can sometimes ache without injuries so I hope that you're ok xx
