But if you were forced to choose between the two, which would it be.....difficult decision!!

Well, I had a good night sleep which was really good, but I ache today - will not try and do so much work in one day for the next few days until the physio has had time to do its thing.

Today I am hoping that Pania is coming over for coffee, then we can put the world to rights and pretend we are sitting in Starbucks!

I am also a little cross because a couple of weeks ago I wrote to my bank and asked them to cancel a couple of small direct debits I had found, and have seen this morning that they have paid one of them today!! I know the bank received the letter because they called me to acknowledge it! I know that they will put it right, but it annoys me because it will have put that account over its limit and I will have to request the charges to be cancelled too.

Good news in today's post (see, it DOES happen!) - Barclaycard have refunded OH's bank charges - only £112, but added to the £80 we got from HSBC last week, that is £200 we didn't have before.

Obviously with the test case starting today in the High Court, it may be the last piece of bank charges good news we ever have so I am going to savour it for at least 5 mins!!

I would expect most cases now to be adjourned or put on hold, unless they really are too small for the banks to be bothered with. Seaxwyn says that her bank have announced on their website that all correspondence will be halted until the outcome of the test case is announced!

Well, it had to happen sooner or later, and it should still go in our favour, but of course it is out of our hands so def can't count on it (sadly).

Other good news (blimey it is becoming a bit of a habit today) is that I have picked up a £65 mystery shop!! Obviously can't go into details but that is one decent fee!!!

Hypno, I'm glad to read two pieces of good news after your recent run of bad luck. Hope things have turned and tomorrow's post brings news of that holiday to Antigua.

Hi James, how are things in sunny yaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmaaaaaaaaaaaaaffffffffffffff?

I have already had over £3500 of bank charges back, so I suppose that even if this one fails, I have had something worth having.

This month though, will be the first time for a very long time that I have not incurred a charge hopefully so here's hoping I can keep away from them in the future!!
