Lol, I'm the queen of excuses!

We started playing squash about 6 months before I got pregnant actually, and that was loads of fun - great for getting all your aggression out when you're a bit niggled at something hubby has said or done - you can 'accidentally' aim the ball at his head :D so I might go back to doing that instead.

snaggles i'm sure we can come up with plenty of excuses for you if you need them lol

ironing the bloody suits is an excuse enough, surely!!

Just had an ebay sale collected. £52 to go off the dreaded Egg card, and because it was cash on collection no wasted paypal fees!

Ooh, I used to love playing squash. Could hardly walk the day after, mind you, but I suppose No Pain, No Gain.

Elantan, that sounds exhausting. Well done for surviving those early years!

Your son sounds like an extreme case but I think there's a big variation in the amount of sleep children need. Two of mine are never asleep before 11, even if they're in bed with the lights off at 8. I know I was the same myself.

Well done on your continuing debt busting fervor, Hypno. Why don't you bottle your energy and sell that on ebay - I'd like some.

I think once the buyers received their purchase, they may be sorely disappointed. Determination to get through this I do have. Energy I don't have!

Karate is a bit more expensive as well - I think we used to pay £4 per class each, whereas squash is about £6 for the two of us. Hmmm, I think squash is winning so far. I know what you mean about hardly being able to walk the next day though....and not being able to reach your arms up to get things out of cupboards because you've pulled so many muscles! It gets easier after a few weeks though.

One of the hypnotherapy/NLP sessions that I do is to induce energy. Works well for my clients but never been able to self-treat, otherwise I would be like a whirling dervish with a fantastically neat and tidy house and a couple of Masters degrees under my belt!!

How annoying that you can't self-treat to give yourself energy! That would be so great if you could. I'm terrible for being 'all or nothing' when it comes to energy - I'm either flying round, doing everything, totally unstoppable.....or I'm slumped on the sofa feeling tired out all day.

Hypno, can you treat people at a distance by phone or email? Genuine question.
