Taxi, you are so right - it really should be something that is taught in schools. Surely it would be quite easy to incorporate it as a topic for English and Maths lessons, and certainly in PSHE type lessons?

Elanten, I have always been quite strict about bedtimes, and in fact it has only recently gone up to 8pm from 7.30!!

Bedtimes are important to us partly because our children do so much activity that they get very tired if they do not sleep (eg getting up for ski races at 4am on Sunday mornings, skiing 3 or 4 times a week and karate a couple of times a week, plus other after school sports etc), and the second most important reason is that we are selfish and need to have some time to ourselves before it is our bedtime!

Grown up time when we can have a conversation without having a child butting in is most valuable!!!

El, you must have been exhausted! You may be right about the asthma medication though - my daughter threw herself down the stairs as a result of her inhalers when she was 2 or 3!!

Today I have been out and seen a couple of clients and have a couple more to see this evening so a good day as long as I have no cancellations. Just waiting for an ebay sale to be collected by the buyer and another £52 to add to the pot :j and then a friend coming round for coffee this afternoon so need to get a bit of housework done. Just a bit mind.....don't want anyone to worry.....

Be careful if you're doing the housework hypno - don't overdo things :D

Make sure you stop for a jaffa cake break every 15 minutes!

Ugghh, I remember karate uniforms, me and hubby used to go - they take forever to iron and still look like they've been dragged through a hedge backwards. Keep intending to go back once I've had the baby, as it's quite good exercise, but I'm not sure how motivated I will be.
