First batch of home made yoghurt is in the airing cupboard as we speak......I will check on it before the children go to bed!

I have located suitable containers for the children to take it to school in, and have come up with the following "additions" for flavouring that we have in the cupboards......

    vanilla essence
    frozen apples
    frozen berries of various sorts
bananas that are getting a bit mushy
    honey
chopped nuts, raisins and mixed spice (could use some of the frozen apples too)
    jam

I did draw the line when I came across a tin of "Toast Toppers" which I obviously bought once in a fit of nostalgia, but never got tempted to eat!!

Pania, I am hoping to pop over in the morning, to go to the farmer's market. If I do not turn up, you know it is the yoghurt.........:o

hypno - I am sure you are well aware of this but *just in case* did you know you can get free business cards via Quidco...using Vista Print? You just pay the postage and you also get a bit of cash back too of course.

For anyone else who fancies having a card with their name, address, email address, mobile phone on etc, check it out. I have some...they are pretty good quality really and you can choose from a number of designs. I got them made when we moved house - easy way to let everyone know your new details.

Also good if anyone has their own business such as decorating, plumbing etc (or their friends/partners have).

I do not work for VISTA print honest! :rotfl:

    Hello!

I would agree with LA above, Vistaprint is pretty good for cards, brochures etc. I have used them since I started up in business and they always have special offers on and I have never had a problem with them. I used them before I was quidco educated and was happy with them so became even more happy when I realised I could get cash back too :j

The yoghurt is out of the airing cupboard and in the fridge. Have poured a little out for the children's lunch and added blackcurrants and a little honey. It looks good, so we will await the after school verdict!

Today I have an early client, then hoping to pop to Pania's local farmers market for cheap fruit and veg. Do the banking and then Friday is full of running the children around to various sporting activities.

I hope everyone has a good day xx

    Hello

glad the yoghurt was a success.

I use Vistaprint too and have had no problems but I have read of people getting stung by Vistaprint setting up a direct debit and taking money from their accounts - so anyone ordering their ace free cards, be careful about what boxes you tick.

:T Well, I am so proud of myself......

popped over to see Pania for a coffee and we walked down to the market. I only bought things that I needed and could make yummy dinners with, plus some cat food.

The reason I am so proud of myself is that there was a stall selling:

    3 large toblerone for £1
    2 100g lindt chocolate bars for £1
    etc etc

AND I RESISTED..... I walked away from the stall without so much as a sniff at the chocolate!! Also, Pania zoomed in on the sweet stall (for medicinal purposes only you understand because she has a rotten cold) and AGAIN I RESISTED :T

Instead, to keep my sweet tooth happy, I bought some dates.....:A

I'm very impressed you showed some real self control there. And well done for only buying food to go in things. Sounds like a good shopping trip
