Hi all, not tried the yoghurt yet, but will do so tomorrow.
El, the book hasn't arrived yet, but I am sure it will do so tomorrow. Will let you know as soon as it does.
Cooking tartiflette at the moment. Will be delish but am using very strong French cheese so my kitchen stinks!! I am sure it will be worth it though, although definately not good for the old waistline.
DS has been in a basketball tournament today and his school came second so that was good to watch, and he got his SATS results as well, straight 5s so I can be a proud mum! I know people have varying opinions of SATS, all very valid, but still nice to get good results!
After dinner I am off to a local playgroup for a pamper evening - giving people tasters of the therapies that I offer in the hope they will book up at some point in the future!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Ztd - how warm does it have to be? Room temp or airing cupboard sort of temperature? How long will it keep in the fridge for? And will it keep okay out of the fridge, if I used it in packed lunches? Sorry for all the questions and sorry for the hijack Hypno!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Airing cupboard temperature. I have a heat tray which allegedly heats up to 19C.
Not sure how long it keeps in the fridge. The yoghurt continues to mature while it's there, so it gets more and more "solid" and granular. The oldest stuff I've eaten was about a month old, but very "grainy" especially towards the bottom. Did me no harm, but then again, I'm a man, and an ex-student. Male students are notoriously difficult to kill with food poisoning...
It is OK to take to work/school etc. Or at least I've never had any problems. I usually take a full litre and eat that over the course of the day. Not kept in a fridge."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I have told the children about this and they are both happy to give it a go....will be buying live yoghurt and uht milk tomorrow and hopefully in Friday's lunch box they will have yoghurt!!
As for food poisoning - my family are used to being fed out of date food.....if it ain't crawling off the plate, it is still ok to eat. They must have stomachs made of lead by now, but I reckon in the olden days when there were no sell by dates it was all ok, so why not now!! Good luck with the yoghurt!
I hope you are feeling a bit better now than you did first thing this morning. If it is any consolation this weather is making me feel a mixture of bad things at the moment however a cra ppy job doesn't help either.

I am sitting here eating the most fattening delicious dinner ever - Tartiflette. Have just been reminded why I never seem to lose weight when skiing - even though I ski my socks off, I eat loads of this stuff. Double cream.....cheese.....bacon.......potatoes......heaven!!
Love the toilet thought LA. Will keep that one with me
Hope everyone has a good evening. Open a bottle, and relax.....xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
